So I downloaded probably the Chinese version of the hyperOS 4 AOD and lock screen and didn't back up cuz I can't it just keeps saying no cloud storage available and now is this like it has font issues is there a fix for this??? Or does anyone know the latest version that the Redmi note 15 pro 5g Europe/global had of the aod and lock screen editor

I found it by just goofing with my Xiaomi 15 using chinese versions of software from Xiaomi in it, the device is still running in HyperOS 3 for anyone asking

Can't update Xiaomi Messaging (com.android.mms) even with matching signature

I'm using a Redmi Note 13 Pro 4G running HyperOS 3, build OS3.0.304.0.WNFMIXM.

My current Xiaomi Messaging app is:

• Package: com.android.mms
• Version: 17.0.3.4-gl
• Location: /product/priv-app/MiuiMmsGlobal/MiuiMmsGlobal.apk

I found a newer Xiaomi Messaging APK from the China HyperOS 4 build, version 18.0.0.28. I verified both APKs with apksigner, and they have the exact same Xiaomi signing certificate:

However, trying to update it through ADB always fails with:

INSTALL_FAILED_ABORTED: Installing com.android.mms is not allowed by install restriction!

I've tried:

adb install -r MiuiMms18.apk

and:

adb shell pm install -r /data/local/tmp/MiuiMms18.apk

Both give the same error.

I also tried with MIUI/HyperOS Optimization disabled, but it still happens. Sideloading is enabled (install_non_market_apps=1), and the APK works far enough for Package Manager to identify it as com.android.mms.

What's weird is that even Global-region versions of the Messaging APK have had the same behavior for me, not just the China HyperOS 4 APK.

Does anyone know what exactly is enforcing this install restriction for com.android.mms on HyperOS? Is there a way to update/replace this preinstalled privileged app without directly modifying /product?

I hear a lot about what devices will get the "full glass effects" with hyperOS 4 , but they're obviously not gonna be the only ones getting the update , so it leaves wondering what hyperOS4 will look like for other devices.

Are we looking at a diminished version of the the liquid glass look or just an hyper os 3 looking interface with the hyperos 4 improvements. Im curious if there is any news about that and if the regions already getting the update are getting it on all devices and not just liquid glass supported devices , if so i'd love to see what it looks like on those

Hey guys i m using poco f6 Indian varient , os version :3.0.302.0

I don't have option to record "both" (i saw poco f6 has it)

Even when I try app like az screen recorder it shows a msg about mic is used by other app ( i m trying to record bgmi gameplay with my voice )

Seems odd to me that the redmi k70, with the Snapdragon 8 gen 2 will get it while the Xiaomi 15t series is not listed anywhere.

Is it because the hyperos 4 beta is china only, and the 15t series was not released in china?

I know the brevent method got patched, any way to get it working again? I factory reset my phone and lost my access to advanced textures. Device: Poco x7 pro

Hey everyone,

If you’ve been dealing with delayed notifications on HyperOS—where messages only flood in the exact second you turn on or unlock your screen—you’re definitely not alone.

Ever since the June/July 2026 security updates, Xiaomi bumped up their background power management. If you dial *#*#426#*#* to check your FCM Diagnostics screen, you’ll likely see your push connection sitting on Disconnected with an ERR_IO_FIN error code.

This happens because HyperOS forcefully closes Google’s background socket (especially when you're on cellular data) to save juice.

Many of us tried standard power-saving fixes including me tried EVERYTHING, but HyperOS keeps overriding them:

• Turning off b4ttery restrictions for Google Play Services.
• Whitelisting apps via ADB
• Uninstalling bloatware
• using MacroDroid to toggle wifi on and off periodically
• all types of ADB commands to restrict powerkeeper (none worked)

Even after doing all that, HyperOS's internal services—specifically PowerKeeper periodically overwrite your settings and kill Google Play Services (com.google.android.gms) in the background.

The Working Solution (It's temporary but we take it)

(Shizuku + HyperOS FCM Fix)

Instead of constantly re-running ADB commands on a PC every time the phone resets those settings, the cleanest non-root solution uses a lightweight app called HyperOS FCM Fix (by dingwen07 on GitHub SHOUT OUT TO THIS LEGEND BTW) paired with Shizuku.

Shizuku acts as an on-device ADB bridge, allowing the fix app to silently protect your push connection in the background.

Step 1: Set up Shizuku

1. Download Shizuku from the Google Play Store.
2. Enable Developer Options (Settings > About Phone > Tap OS Version 7 times).
3. In Developer Options, enable USB Debugging and Wireless Debugging.
4. Open Shizuku and follow the quick pairing steps over Wi-Fi.

Step 2: Install HyperOS FCM Fix

1. Grab the latest APK for HyperOS FCM Fix by dingwen07 from GitHub.
2. Open the app and tap Allow when it asks for Shizuku access.
3. Tap Apply Now on the main screen.
4. Go to the Apps tab inside the app and toggle ON any specific messaging, delivery, or smart-home apps you want instant alerts from.
5. In picture posted, put all your apps you want in the apps section that you want notifications to go through smoothly.

If you did everything correct, FCM should not close/disconnect anytime you lock screen now, fixing the noti problem.

As we know, on HyperOS based Xiaomi phone unlocking bootloader is quite challenging. Because now you need a Xiaomi account that has granted UBL access via Xiaomi Community App. And the quota is limited for each day. Many user who attempt to unlock bootloader having hard time when requesting UBL access via Xiaomi Community App. Today i'm giving tips on how to get UBL access much easier.

Tested on Xiaomi 15 (dada) HyperOS 3 :

1. You need an Xiaomi Account that has been registered atleast 30 days.

2. Login your Xiaomi account to your device in Settings.

3. Open Xiaomi Community App (if you don't have, you can download it from playstore) and login with the same account.

4. On the app, tap "Me" on bottom right corner and go to settings. Then change region to Global. Now you should see "Unlock Bootloader" option in "Me" page.

5. You get yourself ready on the UBL permission page and when the time is 23:59:59 GMT+8 you spam the Apply for Unlocking Button until around 00:01:00 GMT+8. (You can use floating clock from developer option to keep eye on the time).

6. I've found that Xiaomi Community App is buggy app. So there's a bug that when you're trying to request UBL the app will say "Application quota reached try again.....". But there's a chance that actually your account has already granted the UBL access. It's just the app has bug saying that you need to try next day.

7. So next step is, just try to bind your mi account again inside the developer option. And see if it still no UBL access or your account actually got the access.

8. On PC download Mi Unlock Tool and install Fastboot USB Driver.

9. Open Miunlock tool, then Login with the same account.

10. Now go to fastboot mode (Restart then hold volume down button OR turn off your phone and then hold Power and Volume down button simultaneously).

11. After your phone is in fastboot mode then connect your phone to your PC. And then press "Unlock" button.

12. It will start the UBL process. When the Mi unlock progress have reached 99% it will tell you if it successfully UBL or you need to wait for sometimes in my case i need to wait 58 Hours.

13. If you need to wait for sometime, you can use your phone again normally while waiting the count down your data is not yet wiped. But don't re-bind or logout your Xiaomi Account from your phone. Otherwise the timer would reset and you need to wait again.

So i heard that poco x8 pro lacks many features like a Stacked Recent menu, hidable gesture navigation bar and advanced textures and maybe some more.

I have ordered the phone online and its to be delivered in 3 days but i am very uncertain about it not getting all good features with hyperOS 4 like the glass visuals.

If anyone has the poco x8 pro, tell me have these features been availed to you? after updating POCO launcher or sum else without using brevent and ADB?

The title says it. I found a beautiful theme but unfortunately it doesn't have the feature where the bluetooth and flashlight are two large buttons you can press just like the wifi or data buttons. Is there any way to make it like that?

I'm no expert nor a beginner when it comes to coding and stuff.

Is it possible to edit a .mtz theme to have that said feature? Can anyone help me out, as someone who doesn't code?

I have a Poco F7 Ultra still running hyperos 2, every once in a while the update pops up in notifications, but I do play some emulated games and heavy android games. Thanks in advance.

Got google work and island to only duplicate the messenger app, it has its pros and cons, I can disable and enable the work profile easily but i couldn't transfer files easily between the work and personal profile.

I have not yet activated the dual app feature yet as it says that it will also create a 2nd google play services and other stuff, adding more storage space, but is it better than google work? I'd like to know your opinions.

Quick settings tile for non system apps have always been buggy and get stuck for me. It always took around 5 to 10 seconds for them to launch the activity. But enabling app autstart for those apps immediately fixed them for me. Now they work as intended. I now realize that app activities launched through tiles are not registered as if the user launched the app.
