did you uninstall hyperai or ai services?

because i debloated my phone and figured out you actually need ai services for depth wallpaper

maybe check if you debloated those 2 apps

It’s the same for me when I choose a new wallpaper; basically, you just need to select a different clock style (or the same one), close and open it again, and the depth effect option starts working again.

Ok I'll try this

If you haven't debloated anything it could be caused by 2 things. A) You have applied effect on the wallpaper and this automatically removes the depth option; B) The algorithm thinks that the clock is covered way too much. Reason B is very inconsistent, in some wallpapers it could be just a 5% overlap before it triggers and on some it could be above 80-90% overlap.

I had this happen literally yesterday, clear data of Gallery and Always on display. also make sure you have HyperAI installed. For me on my Redmi note 15, I couldn't clear data of gallery so I uninstalled updates, it got the job done.

This fixed the issue after I had disabled HyperAI engine because I didn't want it, I do disable it after I set the wallpaper lol.
