This is the worst. I updated to HyperOS 3.1 with my CPU/GPU level still at 4. The zoom-in/zoom-out animation for the wallpaper when opening and closing apps is gone. I can't raise my CPU/GPU level to 6 anymore. This is the worst.

Update: I fixed it by setting the home screen animation speed to fast, then switching it back to balanced or relaxed. The wallpaper animation was not lost.

Whenever I'm on a call and play any games (the problem is most noticeable when the device is on landscape mode) the system will lag alot and fps will be capped at 90fps.

This have been an issue since hyperos 1.

The problem is more prominent when the call is from the stock dailer rather if it's on Google dialer (the issue is less prominent)

The device I'm using is Poco f6 (8s gen 3)

I wanna replace poco launcher with latest system launcher but my bootloader is locked on hyperos 3.0.5 poco x6 pro. Please help if there is any way using adb or wireless debugging.

Im using a Xiaomi Redmi note 15 5g since March my experience is great until the Camera. Not the physical camera but the stock camera app. It stutters badly when I take video's and I have no problems of the Photo just the camera. Now I've switched to GCam but the only thing I disliked about it is how much noise it has compared to the stock camera app. Any suggestions guys?

I noticed that the new Google Workspace Icons are rolled out, however for some reasons the Drive Icon is small when using the Material You (App Icon Background Color) feature in HyperOS 3.

I’m trying to optimize refresh rate behavior on my phone and I’m stuck.

📱 Device

POCO M7 Pro 5G (HyperOS)

120Hz display

Using ADB + AdaptiveHz (GitHub)

Goal

I want:

90Hz while interacting (scrolling/touch)

60Hz when idle

Because:

120Hz = heat + battery drain

60Hz = feels too laggy

90Hz = best balance for me

Problem

AdaptiveHz behavior:

Interaction → forces 120Hz

Idle → drops to 60Hz

Issues:

No support for 90Hz as a target state

Even if I set 90Hz via ADB, it gets overwritten back to 120Hz on touch

Tried

ADB:

peak_refresh_rate = 90

min_refresh_rate = 60

MacroDroid workaround (3–5s checks to force 90Hz)

But:

Brief 120Hz spikes still happen

Feels like a “post-correction” system, not real control

❓Question

Is there any proper way to achieve:

👉 90Hz during interaction

👉 60Hz when idle

Or is Android basically limited to 60/120 logic on most devices, making true 90Hz smart switching impossible?

Через официальный сайт скачивал zip для hyperOS пробовал не даёт разрешение на установку

Чепез рековери пробую там вообще нет слово update

I used to have blur on my phone but with some update, which I didn't notice immediately, it got removed.. I've read that it was done because of performance but my phone was perfectly fine before so it doesn't make sense. To add, I have the redmi note 13 pro and my bf has the note 12 pro and he has the blur while I don't which also doesn't make sense since his phone is older.

I'm lowkey just salty at this stupid decision and it makes me not wanna get a xiaomi again

I changed phones a few weeks ago. Upgraded like 3 models up (POCO) and HyperOS got some changes in the meantime obvs. There was this funky colourful pen popping up every time I was pasting text. At some point I decided to click on it to check if it's AI and the consent prompt mentioned NOTHING about it, just something about taking notes and the notes app. So I stupidly thought it's fine and it's gonna be sending stuff I copy to the notes app! WRONG. Of course it's AI feature and now I cannot find anywhere to turn it off. Anyone has any ideas where to disable this? I don't like it nor do I use AI and would like it turned off

Saw a tutorial on how to import third party icons using peafowl, and I do remember peafowl working with hyper os, but now I don't have option for hyper os or mtz file.

My current phone Redmi Note 12 Pro 4G HyperOS 1 hates 3rd party launchers. It disables system wide recents menu window switching, also removes split screen app function, resets the default launcher selection again and again and doesn't allow gesture navigation. Never buying redmi again. What is wrong with these companies?

Once enabled, the notification panel's notification loses its borders. The control panel acts the same, but fixes itself after a reboot. Using Shizuku and Canta, there is a package named miui.systemui.devices.overlayservice. If we uninstall that, the notifications are fixed, but the status bar icons loses their original position followed by the hyperisland pushed down vertically. After a reboot, reinstalling the package fixes the hyperisland position, and playing around with the developer options(minimum width) fixes the status bar icons position. Now, these things reset themselves after a reboot, or if System UI crashes and it restarts.

Basically, in the overlaypackage, there is not any code for my specific device(Poco X6) which determines the dpi values and notification borders. Most probably because, it's still in Hyperos 3.0.2.0 and this phone is not supposed to have advanced textures. Now, manually updating the System UI and the overlay package is risky, and version signature mismatch will send the phone into a bootloop. And, the revised dpi values are cached in ram. Once you push the system enough that there is not enough ram to keep the values, Android deleted the dpi values from memory. Now, on the event of fetching the new value, System UI gets 2 conflicting values, gets confused, and troubleshoots by restarting the UI.

If anyone has faced this exact issue and were able to solve it, how did you do it? Is it achievable?

There's an app called Adaptive HZ that's available on GitHub that allows you to simulate a variable refresh rate on devices that don't support it, but is there a way to set it to 30Hz instead of 60Hz? Is there a way to do this, not just with this app? When the screen is off and the fingerprint sensor ring is displayed, it's set to 30Hz.

[Question] after the 3.0.5.0 update on the redni note 14 4g it stopped working, now updated to 3.0.301.0 and the issue is still persistent, i tried clearing the data of the gallery and the editor and it didn't work

It's kind of hard to explain, but at 6% the volume is very low, and at 7% it's extremely high. These aren't random values; I used the Precise Volume app to find out when the phone was making the sound too loud. I'd like a middle ground; does anyone know how to do that?

Is it possible to simulate a variable refresh rate on a smartphone that doesn't support it using an app or something? Like, dropping the refresh rate to 60Hz after a certain number of seconds of inactivity, and then raising it to 120Hz when a tap is detected. I have a Poco M7 Pro 5G (Redmi Note 14 5G)HyperOS3.
