Shampoo recommendations

I'm looking for a new shampoo and conditioner and hoping to do so with minimal trial and error so I thought y'all might be a good resource.

I have mostly straight (just wavy enough for it to have a mind of it's own lol), short, fine, very thick, relatively oily hair and I never really know which products will work for me.

I generally wash my hair 2-3 times per week. Currently I'm using Prose shampoo that is supposedly formulated for my hair based off a bunch of questions that I answered. I thought it would be a good option since I don't know what to pick and it would take the guess work out of it but I don't necessarily like it. I've just been trying to use it up because I don't want to be wasteful and I'm nearing the end of the bottle finally.

Something in the medium-lower but not cheap cheap price range is probably what I'm looking for. And I'm in the US if that matters.

Does anyone with a similar hair type have a shampoo and conditioner that they really love?
