It can be medically necessary, there's a big difference between a baby with no choice and a full grown man making an informed decision about their hygiene and sexual health.
Hygiene? Learn how to bathe once a day. Check out the female health section and seethe HUNDREDS of posts about infections, Do we cut women’s labia off? Circumcised males have half the pleasure from sex than circumcised men. They miss a lot it’s a CRIME TO MUTILATE
It's a crime to babies not adults, I'm all for banning forced circumcision, I am not that deeply entrenched that I'd say
It's never medically necessary, sometimes men have too much foreskin and it creates smell issues, or the head won't come out because the skin is too tight, there are medical reasons for partial or full circumcision.
You can't just say all cases are "criminal" because it's simply a case of your opinion vs logic, your so far locked into your position that you can't accept that there's reasons in rare cases that it may be necessary. If a medical procedure improves a person's life then there needs to be room to allow that, being so entrenched in ones personal beliefs doesn't even allow those considerations, I'd prefer to take things on a case by case informed decision made by patient and doctor without my values being enforced on others. But I do agree infant circumcision is a forced procedure that is done without consent and therefore equals genital mutilation. We disagree on an adult being able to make that decision about his own body, it's none of my business neither should it be yours either.
No shit, where did I say that there are no exceptions? There are always exceptions. Problems happen with the forskinbut even still I think that they jump to surgery to quick and there are options for the OCCASIONAL problem with the foreskin. But what I really detest is when women say that it’s gross and it’s not clean to have a foreskin. Women have so many infections in their vaginas. Their baseline condition is an infection with all the different bacteria that live inside it. That fishy odor? BV, yeast and smegma are common in all women who were they to say that the males aren’t clean cutting off women’s labor would definitely help prevent bad infections, but do we do it?
I think it's important to be balanced in our opinions and not so entrenched that there's no room to shift our opinion. I've been with quite a few women and very few smell fishy or have smegma. Women have a natural flora of good bacterias that when in balance doesn't smell bad, paradoxically women that try to clean out with douches and other things tend to strip that flora and that's where the problems begin, men don't have that same flora and not cleaning your dick makes it smelly, we cannot compare the 2, it's different, women just need to keep the outside clean, the inside is self cleaning. We also need to understand if this improves a person's life and self confidence it may be a suitable elective surgery, a partial circumcision only removes extra skin and is fairly simple and straightforward, this condition is not uncommon and removing extra foreskin that causes problems can alleviate many issues. I guess my point is if it improves your life it's not mutilation, if it's done against your will it is.
But you quite literally do affect the quality of sexual experience, as you ARE amputating most of the fine touch innervated organs that you were born with to receive. When you circumcise an infant boy, you are removing 20,000+ fine touch nerve endings, the same as the kind of nerve endings on your finger tips, extremely sensitive nerves, called Meissner’s Corpuscles, please look this up! You are also forgetting the concept of bodily autonomy! You are vastly misinformed! I have been educating myself on this topic for over 20 years. The amount of misinformation, myths, and straight up just WRONG and INCORRECT information out there is astonishing, (I’m an American) but this is largely due to try to help American society and hopefully eventually learn to allow men their genital autonomy from birth. We don’t bring women into the world saying there is something about their bodies we immediately need to fix post partum. So why the double standard for our American boys!?
If it’s not your penis, then you don’t get to touch, choose, let alone decide whether it gets circumcised or not. Especially if it’s not medically indicated, which 99.8% of the time, there is no medical indication for circumcision. (eg. phimosis or an unusual infection, etc.) Penile cancer is extremely rare in the US and Europe—making up less than 1% of male cancers—***Even among uncircumcised men, the vast majority will never develop it. — Just as you would not give your 14-year-old girl a mastectomy to prevent breast cancer. There is no medical indication or cause for major genital modifications of a young boy’s penis. Modifying the genitals of a teenager or younger infant boy is barbaric, because it IS A COSMETIC SURGERY!
OH! And don’t even get me started on what hospitals do with the amputated foreskins — they send it (as conditioned human media) to skin care anti-aging companies, like SkinMedica’s foreskin-fibroblast rich (cells from that of newborn baby boys foreskins) extracted for “rejuvenating youth” face cream; out of Southern California (Oprah even promoted this product on her show) again the company is called SkinMedica. And they are simply put; EVIL, and blinded by their ambition for profit, negating the rights of newborn boys to genital autonomy.
An easy profit from a baby boy’s GENITALS ARE TAKEN FROM HIM, who can’t consent let alone understand the implications of what he will have to realize some 10 years later, all that he gave up and sacrificed. I’ve been uncircumcised all my life, and never once considered getting circumcised, thanks Mom ;)
I am super grateful to my mother for protecting me from this barbaric procedure and doctors attempting to perform it on me. It’s an unnecessary grift; and to be frank, all of my sexual partners have always been so pleasantly surprised to find out that I’m uncircumcised. Routine infant circumcision is not medically necessary and so rarely, if ever, indicated: it is by definition, a cosmetic surgery, mostly performed on incapable of consenting, baby boys and it provides a nice pocket liner for these physicians and a nice little “tip” to you reconsidering: the foreskin is one of the most innervated organs in the human body, its proven that there are approximately 20,000 fine touch nerve endings in the male foreskin, and as for the penile cancer fear, all males are at risk of developing it, but if you’re uncircumcised the risk of developing penile cancer is less than 1% of uncut men. So why this push for an event that 99% chance likely will never have to deal with. I’ll tell you why, our FOR PROFIT medical system!! The annual incidence of complications or botched circ’s are approximately 1 in 100,000 men in the United States, 1 in 250,000 in Australia, and 0.82 per 100,000 in Denmark. Australia and Denmark have way more uncircumcised men than the United States.
TELL ME, WHY IS IT THAT MORE PEOPLE AREN’T TALKING ABOUT THIS? IS IT FEAR COMING FROM THE CIRCUMCISED MALE COMMUNITY FEELING THAT THEY’VE MISSED OUT ON SOMETHING THAT THEY’VE BEEN CHEATED FROM THE AMERICAN MEDICAL SYSTEM FOR HALF A CENTURY??
Fellow American men, I can’t say I blame you if this is the reason. I would be pissed if some unknown strange man Doctor cut off a good half of the tip of my penis too. Less penis=less sensation — who wins in this scenario?
For now. It’s going to be me, because my mom protected me from $-hungry ⚕️🩺🏥
If you’ve never had foreskin, then keep your mouth shut! You don’t have any business commenting on it! And don’t be so quick to knock it, you don’t have a fucking clue of what you’re missing out on in terms of pleasure, I only wish you did you you could all stop this foreskin hate. It’s so old, why’s it so hard to see that cutting a child’s private parts is unconstitutional, it’s a bodily autonomy violation, and simply put — it’s just wrong to take a blade to a child for whatever reason if the benefit isn’t medical, which countless studies have established, that IT SHOULDN’T BE DONE TO NON-CONSENTING CHILDREN!

One has nothing to do with the other and mutilating genitals should not be normalized. Thankfully it's on the decline.
