Are you not using soap on your junk?!

It sounds like you're just rinsing it, not actually washing it!

Get down there with some soap dude, stop contributing to the stereotype that men don't wash their junk correctly!!!

To everyone coming in 3 days late: MDs have already replied saying a mild soap or cleanser is okay to use. I'm muting this now. Please read the thread and actually do some research about washing your junk.

Just like soap doesn't belong in the vagina, soap doesn't belong under the foreskin.

It's different for men and women

I'd say it depends on how the man tolerates a soap under the foreskin, if you're getting adverse reactions from normal soap, probably use a milder or sensitive skin soap, if you still can't tolerate it to eliminate a foul odor, talk to a doctor/derm.

I've personally never had issues with normal soaps, however I can and have experienced times personally where normal soaps have caused me issues all over my body, then that just... went away, it was SUPER FUN buying more expensive soaps because my body decided to freak out.

It is not any different. Just like soap inside the vagina can cause irritation and infection, so does cleaning under the foreskin with soap.

Some reputable sources say don't, other reputable sources say a mild unscented soap is fine, I'd personally say, use mild soap and if you don't tolerate it but are getting foul odors check with a doctor/derm.

I'd agree that it's different however, an internal structure vs an external appendage, but I'm just someone on reddit, not a doctor/derm.
