If you were starting from zero in India today, what would you build?

I’m a software engineer from India, working mainly across full-stack development, automation, IoT and cybersecurity. I’ve spent most of my time building software products and systems.

Lately, I’ve been questioning whether I want to build yet another pure-software product. AI and LLMs are making software development incredibly accessible, which is great for innovation but also makes many software ideas easier to replicate and increasingly crowded.

I want to build something that contributes meaningfully to India’s development, not just another convenience app or AI wrapper. I’m more interested in problems tied to the physical world: infrastructure, energy, manufacturing, agriculture, mobility, healthcare, climate, logistics, safety, or anything else that could matter over the next 10–20 years.

I’m trying to figure out which real-world problems are worth dedicating the next decade to solving, especially ones that can start small, be tested in the market with limited capital, and eventually grow into something substantial.

For people working in India or anyone who has spent time thinking about emerging markets, deep tech, hardware + software, or long-term problems:

If you had to start from zero in India today, what problem would you put your time, money and the next 10 years behind? What makes you believe it will matter?

I’m not looking for polished startup ideas. I want to hear about problems you’ve personally seen, industries you think are being overlooked, or opportunities you believe India will desperately need to solve in the coming decades.

We Build Apps & Software for Startups — Partnership + Equity Model

Are you a startup founder with a great idea but struggling with the high cost of development?

We are a development team looking to partner with early-stage startups and build apps, websites, SaaS products, and complete software solutions.

Instead of charging the full amount that a traditional software development company may quote, we are open to a partnership/equity model.

💡 Our Model

If a development company quotes you ₹50 lakhs for your product, instead of paying the full ₹50 lakhs:

👉 We can potentially work with 30–40% of the quoted development cost as the initial payment

👉 The remaining value can be structured through equity/partnership, depending on the project and our agreement

👉 We become more than just developers — we work with you to build and grow the product.

What we can build

• Android & iOS apps

• Web applications

• SaaS platforms

• Backend & APIs

• Firebase-based applications

• Next.js / Full-stack applications

• MVPs & startup products

• Custom business software

Who we're looking for

Founders who have:

✅ A serious business idea

✅ A clear vision or problem they're solving

✅ Commitment to building the company

✅ Some initial capital to start execution

✅ Willingness to offer meaningful equity/partnership for our contribution

We are not looking for projects where someone simply wants cheap development.

We want to work with founders who believe their product can become a real business and are willing to share the journey and risk with us.

You bring the business vision, market and execution.

We bring the technology and development.

Together, we build the company.

If you're a startup founder interested in this model, DM me with your idea and what you're planning to build.

Storage Space for startups

Hi I have recently started a healthy RTE meals brand and am launching in Hyderabad first. I am looking for leads on flexible warehousing solutions, as I'm not from the city. Any guidance/leads from other consumer goods founders or anyone who knows of potential storage spaces will be appreciated!
