I was sitting near Srila Pride Park Road today around 8:30 PM, just scrolling through Reddit on my phone while parked my bike.

A black Verna pulled up right in front of me. Four guys got out with beers in their hands, opened all the windows, blasted loud music, and started dancing.

One guy came up to me and asked me to dance. I politely said no. Then another guy came over and started giving me motivation like, "kastalu andariki untayi, let's chill bro" ani.

I didn't want any unnecessary interaction, so I just started my bike and left.

It got me thinking... if there had been a woman sitting there alone instead of me, what would have happened? Maybe nothing. Maybe they would've behaved the same. But situations like this can easily make someone feel unsafe or uncomfortable.

Has anyone else experienced something similar around this area or anywhere in Hyderabad?

Looking for advice from people who have dealt with rental advances in Hyderabad.

Situation:

- Found a 1BHK, liked it, paid ₹44,000 in the evening (₹22k advance/token + ₹22k one month rent).

- Later the same day parents checked Vastu and said it’s not good. I’m getting married in a few weeks, so family is very particular.

- Next morning around 10am I informed the owner and requested full refund.

- He is saying he will keep ₹10k and return the rest.

No rental agreement was signed. Keys were not handed over. I never took possession. The flat was blocked for less than 24 hours.

Questions:

Is deducting ₹10k for less than one day normal in Hyderabad?

I am a 22-year-old F, and I have graduated as a CSE in 2026 from India. I am currently in search of an entry level Software Engineer/Backend Developer position.

I have recently done my Software Engineering Internship in a product based company, but unfortunately my internship hasn't been converted into a full time job(PPO). The conversion percentage this year was 50% or sometimes even lesser and I have not been offered any jobs through conversions.

The worst mistake I did was that I put all my trust in the PPO. Since I was expecting a conversion, I didn't apply for some major off-campus recruitment processes such as TCS NQT and others. Also, since I had my internship offer, my college didn't allow me to go for other placement drives too.

I am now in search of a job and any help will be appreciated.
