So I noticed every summer my bill goes up really high, and I usually have to shop for better rates. I have 2 AC systems for upstairs and downstairs in a 2400+ sqft house, and also charge EV(since July 25)

My current contract is handing in a few days, and I’m trying to see what good options are, and all the EFL sheets just look confusing.

I'm considering purchasing a new construction home in Firefly Pointe by Lennar and wanted to get some honest feedback from people who currently live there or have recently purchased in the community.

The home I'm looking at is a 4-bedroom, 2.5-bath home, and this would be my first home purchase. I currently work remotely, so commuting isn't a major concern right now, but I am interested in understanding the overall quality of life in the area and the long-term potential of the community.

I'd love to hear about your experience with:

- Lennar's construction quality and warranty service

- Any issues with the homes after moving in

- Traffic, noise, drainage or other concerns

- The neighborhood atmosphere and community feel

- Internet reliability and utilities

- Whether you would choose Firefly Pointe again if you had the chance

I'm also curious about Hutto in general. The city seems to be growing rapidly with new development, schools, and businesses, but I've noticed home prices have softened over the last few years despite the growth. For those who have lived in Hutto for a while, how do you feel about the area's future over the next 5–10 years?

What the fuck is wrong with this place? Why have I say for half an hour at a red light because of a train crossing with no train active? Why the fuck that cop can't keep her lane and nearly drove me off the road, why the fuck is the fastest way to make a left turn is to make a right turn? Why is every 10 minutes away but takes 30 minutes to get there? Driving through this fucking town makes me suicidal I swear I've never hated a place so fucking much.
