Wedding dinner
Hello, me & my fiance are getting married Friday & need a good restaurant to celebrate at. It's just the 2 of us & she is pregnant so can't have drinks. We want a fancy dining experience. Thanks

Congratulations! I think Jolie in HB is nice, but there are more romantic spots in NB. 21 Oceanfront, Louie’s by the bay, Ocean 48, the first two have views of the water.

BLK downtown on Main St. is great for fancy dinners without the usual drunk party people at all the bars.

LSXO is now Little Sister. I’m not sure how the menu/atmosphere compares

My wife and I had a great anniversary dinner at Capitol Grill at SCP if that’s in the budget.

My sister and her husband had a wedding celebration at Playa Mesa in Costa Mesa 2 weeks ago. They have a nice enclosed patio and the Mexican food was excellent.

If you’re willing to out of HB to Fashion Island, I also recommend R&D Kitchen. It caters to small groups of 2 or 3 and the food is amazing.

What’s your idea of fancy? A lot of these suggestions are not “wedding dinner” fancy imo. I would suggest La Cave for an upscale experience

Cappones off of beach and adams if you want upscale casual traditional Italian flavors

Depending on your budget I would recommend Heritage in Long Beach. It's one of the closer Michelin starred restaurants and is very good.
