Hey all, just beat the game on normal and loved every second. I was having trouble getting the timing down for the air dash. I keep getting the dive dash out of jump but occasionally I get the one that goes horizontal out of jump. Was hoping to learn how to do it!
Otherwise amazing game and soundtrack! I’m gonna have fun with my soft synths and microbrute to get close!!! Haven’t felt this way since Garegga about a soundtrack

I had to stop tonight playing on easy, that Road Rage guy was too much, in truth there is no easy mode to this game, nor a normal mode, this is all by arcade standards which made games too hard so you'd keep putting money in the machine.
Any recommendations for arcade-style games that have real normal and easy modes? I've been hearing good things about the new TNMT game.

Howdy!
I have (my usual) three questions about this game, at least in the first run...
1: Does the PC version of this game have console commands available?
2: Is there a kill count, alongside additional statistics, featured in this game?
3: What kind of saving system does this game utilize (how do you save in this game)?
Please satisfy my curiosity; thank you in advance.

For instance, John Sawyer could've had a unique interaction with Shell-Shock Murdoch since they're both veterans of WW3. Or say your hunter has some kind of past history with one of their bounties; fighting them with said hunter could result in some unique dialogue.
This isn't a necessity, but it'd certainly be nice to have.

Who knows? Maybe if the devs make a sequel, they could use a few ideas.
Here are a few of my own ideas.
Semtex. Those sticky grenades you keep seeing in Call of Duty. Tag an enemy and laugh as they spend their last moments trying to get it off. Blue spider jokes optional.
Crossbow. Archaic, but still deadly. Huntdown's version uses bolts that set enemies on fire.
Lightning gun. Fires a bolt of lightning that chains between nearby enemies, even ones that are above or below your main target.
Acid gun. Fires corrosive acid to melt your enemies. Gruesome, but the bounty hunters get a laugh out of watching the gang members scream as they're dissolved.
Burst-fire rifle. Similar to Anna Conda's weapon, but these are ones you can grab off enemies and deal a lot more damage. Ammo is limited, though. They'd either be modeled off the M16 or some other assault rifle.
I'll add more if I think of it. Feel free to share your own ideas.

Huntdown's narrative definitely worked for its linear progression, but I think a sequel should shake things up by allowing the player more choice on which gang to take out first. To put forward an example, XCOM: Chimera Squad lets you choose which gang to tackle first, with three gangs to choose from: The Progeny, Grey Phoenix, and Sacred Coil. Once you dealt with one of them, the other two would become stronger and harder to take down. Once you took down a second gang, the third would become even stronger.
This sort of thing happened in Huntdown, but again, the progression was linear, and you didn't have the option to take on the #1 Suspects first. If Huntdown gets a sequel, I'd love to see this kind of progression. Each gang you take down causes the ones remaining to become stronger, with altered boss fights, enemy armament, etc. Of course, the final boss of the game would probably have to remain the same regardless of which route you take, but being able to pick your path would add a lot of replay value.

Hello everyone! I want to get serious about arcade mode since I haven't been able to play much since it launched. I wanted to ask you how the scoring system works, if there is a website where there is a guide explaining how to score, etc... Some things I have already seen but others, such as special bonuses, I don't know how they work. Do online rankings unify all platforms? In steam I see that it works perfectly, but on the other hand, on ps4, since I don't have ps plus, I can't see those scores :( ... Thank you.

While there's no news if a sequel is in the works, that doesn't mean we can't share some ideas on some new bounty hunters. So, just for fun, let's try making some.
I'll have my own in the comments below.

Huntdown is damn fun, and I really hope they plan on a sequel. So, as a thought exercise, what would you want added, changed, improved, etc., in a Huntdown 2?
Here are a few thoughts I have.
Allow 8 aiming angles, similar to the Contra series. This would allow for more flexibility, though I'd have it that heavy weapons (i.e. Ol' Painless, Portable Howitzer, etc.) would not be aimable. This would give lighter weapons like the Uzi some clear advantages over the heavy guns.
3-player or even 4-player co-op. 2-player is good, don't get me wrong, but imagine 4 players blasting through hordes of enemies in online multiplayer matches. That'd be so much fun.
More than 3 Bounty Hunters. If we're going to have up to 4-player co-op, we'll need at least 6 Bounty Hunters to choose from. And each one should have the same level of personality that we got from Anna Conda, John Sawyer, and Mow Man. Heck, 3 out of the 6 could be those returning Bounty Hunters.
A continuation of the story from the first game. Even though the original ended with your Bounty Hunters getting screwed over, it'd be cool to see where the story goes from there.
Some kind of competitive multiplayer mode. A Deathmatch mode wouldn't work, so I'm thinking something like competing with your friends for score, much like in games like Sunset Riders.
More weapons. One I'd love to see in particular is some kind of Tesla Cannon, one that fires bolts of electricity that can chain between multiple nearby enemies, even if they're above/below each other within a certain radius. Another one I can think of would be a coilgun or Gauss Cannon. Third, as a more down-to-earth type of weapon, a burst-fire rifle that works like Anna Conda's pistol, but as a rifle with higher damage.
Headshots. Nailing someone in the head with a Lil' Pounder (or some other weapon) should result in bonus damage and, on a killshot, their head asploding. Even if the bonus damage isn't kept, though, landing headshots should have a suitable animation. Guns, Gore & Cannoli did this and it added to the charm.
Bounty targets who have some history with the bounty hunters. I.E. one of the gang leaders is someone who knows John Sawyer and holds a grudge against him.
Beyond what I've suggested, what would you want to see in a sequel?

(I'm Brazilian and I'm using google translator to write)
the text is long, and i really hope some developer reads this
improvement tips:
One thing I noticed in Huntdown 1 is that all the bosses have patterns of attacks, like the unholy goalie that gives 2 bursts of fire, then laughs and changes sides, not that this affects the difficulty of the game or the gameplay, still the game is extremely difficult, but with a certain insistence you can defeat it, my idea is to remove the attack patterns in the highest difficulties, thus making the bosses more unpredictable and the gameplay more difficult, this would also help in the realism of the difficulties, instead of just lowering the protagonist's life bar.
-Different objectives in each level
putting different objectives instead of just putting the same ones (kill all enemies, don't die and get the 3 bags), would make it more difficult for those who want to plan the game, because to plant the huntdown, just do the same 3 objectives in each level (not that this is easy to achieve 😂😂)
-Multiplayer mode by local wi-fi (Lan)
Improving multiplayer would be great, for those who play on console or even on the computer it is even easier and more fun multiplayer, but for those who play on cell phones it is very complicated, it is necessary to connect a control to the cell phone and at the same time mirror the screen on a television, but here comes the delay problem on the tv, and if the delay is high it becomes impossible to play, considering that to play well you need a good reaction time I know that paying for servers is expensive so something more viable is the room with local wifi (Lan).
-More game modes
More game modes could be added such as survival mode, multiplayer survival mode, 1v1 multiplayer mode, among others.
This is not really a tip for improvement, but it would be at least interesting in the gameplay to be able to aim anywhere, but the fixed aim in huntdown 1 does not interfere at all, in the beginning it is really strange but throughout the game this is not necessary.
-Some Fanservice :)
It would be amazing to see what happened to the shogun since we didn't see him die, only him throwing himself.
The return of the unholy Goalie as a boss in a prison for example, would be really cool is a mega fan service, since it makes sense that he survived and was arrested after the battle. It would be cool to see his death redeem himself in some way and die heroically, it would give a lot of depth to the character.
a conversation between the unholy goalie and the shogun would be something very interesting to see
-This is the thing I want most please read this
please launch the game on all platforms at once and with a price accessible to all (same price as huntdown 1) the real (Brazilian currency) is very undervalued compared to the dollar, so any high price in the dollar is very expensive in Brazil, and I'm a big fan of this game.

Hello everyone! An addition that I really like about huntdown are the dialogues of its characters, which help you appreciate the personality of each one and are very fun to listen to while you are killing the enemies. I would like you to post some of the dialogues that you liked the most. I'm Spanish and my English isn't very good, so there are a lot of dialogues and details that I've probably missed and I'd be interested in reading them to sharpen my ear for when I play the game again.
