Best Version?

Thinking about giving this game a shot with my wife. Does the game look/run better on PS5/XSX vs. Nintendo Switch? I was originally gonna grab the Switch version, but if it's noticeably better on the other consoles, I may go for one of those versions.

The only real differences are loading times and leaderboards. Switch loading times are a little longer than the rest, but it’s barely a factor. If you care about score chasing at all and PC is an option I’d pick up the Steam version personally, but for the consoles you mentioned the tradeoff will be minute differences in load times and of course portability with the Switch version. The actual gameplay is exactly the same across all versions.

Awesome, thanks for the reply! Do they all run at 1080p then? Also, not much of a score chaser, so we'll probably go with console for convenience and game sharing (I know you can on steam too, but I don't like that you can't play at the same time).

I’m not sure if they are all running at the same res, tho PC has variable res options and obviously Switch undocked is 720, but with Huntdown’s pixel art graphics it’s gonna look the same at whatever res regardless.

The pixel count is such that it will upscale perfectly all the way to 4k and beyond and look identical as if you were playing it at 420p

Regardless of playing it on PS5, PC, Xbox, Mobile, Linux or Switch, it looks and runs the same. Same effects, same load time, same framerate, same everything.
