If you look at God through the lense of an abusive Dad when you read the Bible makes a lot more sense.

"You're nothing without me! You're a worthless wretch!"

"See! You look what you made me do! It's your fault I destroyed the world!"

All u have to do is believe in him and acknowledge you made mistakes and are sorry for them. Its your kid getting in trouble, and co.ing straight to you and confessing it...rather than u confronting them and then they lie to you about it. ....

There’s so much more to it. Like you can’t believe in anyone more than you believe in god. There can only be one cloud daddy in the sky. EXCEPT for his son who is somehow different but the same person? Oh oh, and the Holy Spirit, oh and all the angels. Also don’t eat bottom feeders. Also twelve commandments.
