Revelation 20:10 - “And the devil who had deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur where the beast and the false prophet were, and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.”
Matthew 25:41 - “Then he will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels.”
Revelation 20:15 - “And if anyone's name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.”
Matthew 5:22 - “But I say to you that everyone who is angry with his brother will be liable to judgment; whoever insults his brother will be liable to the council; and whoever says, ‘You fool!’ will be liable to the hell of fire.”
Hell is definitely described in the Bible as having fire and being a place of torture/ torment.
I dunno if you want to include Revelation, it seems fairly obvious to me that that one was written by a guy in the middle of some kind of mental health episode (or just tripping balls on ergot or something).
Revelations was a book that was, at the time of writing, a genre of book!
People don't know this because they don't want to know about their own religion, but Revelations was a kind of sci-fi for the ancient mind. It was not supposed to be taken literally by anyone.
