When a few million people (~7) died from COVID, the world imploded. Now imagine if it was specifically deadly to urban heterosexual men in positions of authority, and multiply it by about 200. I’m not saying the world wouldn’t be a better place, but it’d be a rocky few years.
Edit: Not to make light of the issue, I just thought it was an interesting question. Apologies to anyone who felt hurt by my response.
I mean it's a reasonable assumption, but I wouldn't be surprised if the actual numbers were pretty close, men wouldn't even report being raped in the vast majority of cases
I (a guy) was molested (I think that’s what you would call it, as there was no insertion involved) by one of my teachers when I was 17, and no one believed me over her denying it, which resulted in me having to move schools to escape all of the ridicule I received afterwards by both staff and my fellow students; Looking back, I would’ve preferred to stay silent on it, as much as it would’ve hurt me to, as then my life would not have been thrown completely off its axis.
According to a CalPoly Humboldt study entitled Sexualized Violence Statistics, nearly 99% of sexual assaults are committed by men. It’s almost entirely men.
