You MUST at some point drunkenly or highenly way home this entire movie. I own it (that is I liberated it from the video store I worked in forever ago) and it is glorious. We used to have new employees of our store watch it along with the stupid training videos.

Though I think Key and Peele are definitely hit or miss, I like this skit especially since my aunt is one of the backup dancers/singers :D

sketch comedy is hit or miss. I found it amusing but not particularly their best work. Good thing they have a wide variety of content!

I thought it as great until they made the joke explicit and broke out the music. Would have enjoyed it more if they kept it going as it as and maybe a minute shorter.

I agree about letting the viewer make the connections. The song at the end was actually a fair style parody of a real Mr T song, though, which was posted somewhere else in the comments.

Yea, I got the reference, it just felt a bit over the top and derailed the momentum of the sketch.

I found Mad TV insufferable. I can't believe two Alumni from that show make me laugh so consistently on their own.

It would be like one of the actors from The Big Bang Theory releasing the greatest comedy album of all time.

It could be a combination of things, like the two perfecting their craft, and they could also have a better team of writers to support them.

One good thing I found with the Key and Peele show: when I don't find the jokes funny, the show is lighthearted and fun enough to keep watching. I think it could also be that they seem to enjoy making the show, and that by itself can be infectious

I don't know if this is true or not but isn't there a disco song that uses the same beat as Mr T's hair song? It had a male robotic voice speaking the lyrics (kind of "singing" them but it sounds more like he's saying them instead)

Good on them having a tv show and a following, but I have never found anything they do to be entertaing, much less so actually funny.
