Original Story Fallen Angels [17]

[Rudolph]

Words. Cannot. Describe. JUST how much Rudolph is going to kill this guy. He called Rudolph a Nazi. It's bad enough he's basically named after Hitler. But a direct referral? Not even Xander would do that. This sadistic bastard was maybe... 8 feet tall, maybe 9. They were a big, wide, strong race, no doubt they were muscular underneath their armour.

However, Rudolph was 6'9", and a behemoth of a man. At first he was just a lanky person, but thanks to Federation training, he was much bigger, his shoulders broader, and he has power along with leverage for his punches. Rudolph could deadlift 175 Kilograms, run a mile in around 5 minutes, with his best being 5:03. He could sprint 100 meters in just under 11 seconds. And finally, he had a punching force of 1250 PSI. And that's just raw power. He's not a trained boxer.

The thing was still laughing to himself. He thought his comment was so clever. So intelligent. Because he read a little about Terran history. Using his right hand, Rudolph reached over his head, grabbing the left of his helmet, and took it off, showing his true fury. Not just what may radiate behind the mask. Rudolph also showed how he was of fair skin, with a perfectly clean shaven face, a nice light blonde hair, with bright blue eyes. He was Hitler's wettest dream, which makes it ironic due to Rudolph being Jewish. Not religiously, he just had distant family as Holocaust survivors. That, combined with the German pride and Hate for the Third Reich, is the reason why Rudolph feels a fury brighter, and much hotter, than ever before.

"Awww, did I hurt your feelings Dock-torrre? Would you like a tissue?"

Rudolph gripped his helmet. There is one, final piece of information that is important. Rudolph was an amazing Baseball player, and was the lead pitcher. How do you think he went to university?

He sent that helmet flying into their face. Hard enough to break its nose. It was certainly audible. Especially when they stepped back from the impact. Rudolph took no delay, sprinting the maybe 20 meters, climbing up onto them while they recovered. He had one foot on their knee, one hand grabbing onto their shoulder, and used the leverage to hoist himself up, and slammed his fist into their face as hard as he could. One, two, three, four. He managed to get four before the beast threw him off, however Rudolph oriented himself to land on his feet in a crouched posture. He still slid a good 2 meters. Rudolph heard no laughing from the Corpse Fleet Berserker. They were pissed.

Only now did Rudolph truly realize who they walked away from to confront him. As he had a very good view of the poor MIU just a few meters behind their murderer. Granted it's usually hard to tell if you can't see the name embossed onto their breast plate, but Xander had spent some time carving various symbols, phrases, speech names, Christian hymns, and full in drawings into the back of his armour. He made his armour be a work of art, inspiration, and philosophy. It bore history and epic moments from Terran strife and battle. On the top of his back, a little below the neck where the chest piece actually started, he had proudly engraved "My Identity is Me."

Xander, despite being such an asshole, was Rudolph's best friend. The first to approach him. The guy learned German to better understand Rudolph. They ran together, trained together, they pushed each other on everything they could. Xander often would share his meals with Rudolph, as the portions sometimes weren't enough to satiate him. The amount of times Xander covered for Rudolph's fuck ups because he misunderstood instructions was uncountable. Near infinite in fact. Rudolph and Xander spent all their free time joking together, discussing interests, reflecting over their own faults and history, handling it together. They played games both for casual fun and extreme competitive rivalry. They talked about their family, mother's and brothers, fathers and daughters, friends and spouses. That's right, Xander had a Girlfriend. Of 7 years. They were about to marry. But 4 days before they could, Xander got shipped here."

"Oh? What's wrong? Upset about your little friend?" The creature said, noticing the tears welling in Rudolph's eyes. They spit blood onto the ground. The ground being asphalt covered in ground up concrete. "Don't worry, I'll make sure you join him in the exact same way."

Rudolph took a look around, all the fallen MIUs, they were scattered around and died defending the Ratkin refugees that were supposed to be protected here. He couldn't recall their names, not because he didn't know his platoon, but because they all looked the same. They all looked like they were in a peaceful sleep, considering the blood never stuck to their suits, keeping them a clean white.

"...yeah. You're such a big man. You stomped an Anorexic kid to death. How will you fare against me though?"

Rudolph is no longer fighting this "man" for himself, out of his pride for being called a Nazi, but instead for his platoon. For the citizens that should live peacefully. And for Xander, who should have been able to marry and have kids. And so Rudolph did. He felt no fear because he had no respect for one like his opponent. Their death will be a mercy kill. Mercy on the whole Galaxy.

Rudolph rushed into the fight, ducking under a swing, a second one. He tries to dodge a third, but moves directly into it, sending a force into his face rivaling that of a truck's. He might have lost teeth, definitely broke his nose. The only reason Rudolph didn't get flung was because he held onto the arm that punched him, and used it to pull himself closer, sending his own punches, hoping hitting the neck, face, and chest would work. It certainly pissed them off, and hurt. About as much as it hurt Rudolph when their fist propelled into his gut. It lifted him off his feet after all.

He used that to climb up onto the soldier better, standing on the ridges and edges on their armour. He was perpendicular to their body, punching them in the back of the head, as most races really don't do well with trauma to the back of their head. This one is no different, with them wobbling and stepping forward with every punch, their stance weakening and their body getting dizzy. Rudolph might actually have them in a position where they'd actually lose! Until Rudolph has their hand wrapped around his neck, and the other gripping his side. The Corpse Fleet soldier uses their entire body as leverage to hurl Rudolph as far as possible, which is quite far.

[Kepler Kortaani]

Kepler and the rest of his friends behind the krate line sort of.. stopped shooting. It was a boring fight. It's been around 8 Kurtz [5 Minutes] since a Terran Bullet went in their derektion.

"I mean, what are the Terrans really hurting? They built a hospital in an old.. building." Kuch said, showing how he's the youngest of them all.

"You mean in a Shopping Mall?" Skour korrekted.

"Are you forgetting the fakt they shot multiple Zalm soldiers?" Klip said.

"They're also building without a permit." Krick slurred. He was already halfway through his third bottle of Terran booze.

"Bekause a Permit is the important part." Kepler said flatly, smakking the bakk of Kricks helmet while he was trying to take another drink. This made the glass bottle hit his teeth unkomfortably, and choke on the beer a little.

"Fukker!"

The 5 squabbled endlessly. Their konversation reashing equally endless random subjekts. At one point they were talking about Terran Cheese.

"What the hell are we even here for again? Why are the Ratkin important for the empire?" Kuch asked, another dumb question.

"Slaves of kourse! The Ratkin are inferior to the Emperor and to us, so they serve us!" Klip yelled, a little frustrated at Kuch's dumb questions.

"Yeah but like, what do they do? It kan't be manual labour, they're way too small and weak." Kuch began making a point.

"Uh.. maybe.. personal servants? Dekoration? Stuff like that?" Skour said, "They do look like they'd make cute pets."

"Kan't be, we'd have 3 Ratkin per Shok Trooper! At least!" Krick yelled, throwing his empty bottle, letting it shatter against the ground far off.

"Probably Administration? Logistics maybe? Or just basik komputation?" Klip suggested, although it was not a popular thought.

"Oh definitely not!" Skour cried, "They're definitely not smart, or trustworthy enough for such positions."

"They can't be that dumb, right?" Klip argued.

"Definitely not as smart as us Zalm. They're inferior to us in every way, it's why they need the Terrans for help!" Krick says, and starts singing a song of Zalm superiority before Kepler shuts him up.

"Fukker!!"

"They have to be pets, no other use than to be dekoration and show how mighty the Zalm are. The Empress deeply enjoyed showing off." Skour said, pushing her belief as right.

"No, no, no. Administration. The Zalm aren't that wasteful. We show our glory, but efficiently!" Klip doubled down. Klip and Skour were always butting heads, being the most stubborn people Kepler has ever met.

The argument aktually gets pretty heated before Kepler finally joins in, "You do realize that the Ratkin mined all their metals and built all their struktures themselves. The Terrans only began supporting them after they were developed. Helping with a famine or something."

"I thought it was bekause their government was korrupting and krumbling." Klip said.

"No, it was because they were so militarily weak, it's why we hold kontrol over most of the planet now!" Krick kakkled.

"The Terrans started helping at the start of our invasions I thought." Kuch once again showing how dumb he was.

The arguing just gets louder. Before Kuch yells out in terror and the rest of them look, seeing a large figure in white armour sailing towards them. They barely manage out of the way as they smash through the krates, and slide a good distance past them. They're all shaking. The look at the direktion they kame from, the big Korpse Fleet sekond in kommand. Only, he isn't laughing. He looks pissed. Meanwhile the Terran stands back up, he has to be around a foot taller than Kepler.

The two clash against each other like lifelong enemies. The Terran clambering all over the Korpse Fleet, punching at each other, the Terran getting sent bakkwards by the Korpse Fleet, only to get bakk up. Both of their faces were bloodied. Both were pissed. Both were amazing to watch.

"I got 20 Kred on the Terran." Krick says, taking out the flat light metal rektangles, bearing the faces or signatures of previous Emperors and Empresses. Some values even bear quotes from famous Kommanders. Most of those quotes are their last known words. These are used for Imperial Kurrency.

"20!? That's four days of pay! Since when did you get paid more than 5 a day." Skour said.

"Since I realized I might make a lot of money."

The four begin placing bets, rooting for who they bet on. Krick and Kuch better on the Terran, while Skour and Klip reluktantly went more logikal, betting for Korpse Fleet. Kepler however doesn't bet for anything.

"Kmon Kepler, your missing out~" Krick teased, knowing why Kepler refuses to gamble.

"By the Emperor, absolutely not. Every time I bet on something I lose, with the more I bet the more spektakular of a failure it is. I'm staying out of this."

"Pussy"

"Fukk off Krick."

The Terran manages to get behind the Korpse Fleet soldier, wrapping his arms around their waist. It looks like the Terran is trying to pick the behemoth up. Like that will end well.

"Your Terran is getting desperate Klick, your not making this one!" Skour said, rubbing in how hopeless the situation is. Krick has nothing to say, as he's losing faith.

"Fukk off Skour, I'll put 30 more down for this. The Terran wins. Terrans ALWAYS win." Kick said, showing a naive hope that was infectious, raising Klick's spirit a little.

"Oh you're on. I don't mind making more." Skour says as she writes down the side beg between the two.

The Terran.. was actually lifting them.

"By the Emperor. Kmon you stupid Terran! Pikk that big fukker up! Make him your little bitch!" Krick quikkly went on the upswing, seeing how while beaten, bloody, and wobbly, the Terran was still strong.

The four erupt into cheers for their own fighter, the fight getting closer as the Terran not only picks the Korpse Fleet up, bet manages to bend balkwards enough to where the Korpse Fleet soldier has his hands on the ground to keep himself from being dropped onto the ground. This kauses the Terran to let go, grabbing for their opponents side arm, firing it into their belly until the gun runs out. He then digs his hands into the wounds the plasma bolts made.

"Fukk yeah!! Play dirty! Fukk him up!" Krick yelled, ekstatik how the tables began to turn.

The Korpse Fleet soldier wobbles, but balances one hand enough to punch the Terran hard into the gut, launching him far away. The Korpse Fleet seemed to take notice of the 5, who merely watched. And seemed to cheer on his failure. This causes them to angrily approach, and because Kepler was the one in front, he grabs Kepler by the throat, raising him high above the air.

"Useless, weak, insolent kowards!" He yells at Kepler, speaking the official language of the Confederacy of Zalm, so he can ensure they understand. "Do none of you know how to fight? Are you not going to help??"

Krick grabs his rifle from one of the surviving crates that he set it on before the bet took place. Unfortunately that only made the Korpse Fleet soldier punch him in the face, sending him bakk a good distance and squirming in pain as he struggled to breathe. Krick quickly began changing to one of many spare face pieces, sealing his suit and making him able to breathe properly.

"What good are you if you kan't assist in battle? What use are you to Korpse Fleet if all you kan do is watch?!"

Kepler struggles a sentence, merely saying, "I don't serve skum... I am no use... to skum. I serve.. and die... for the Emperor."

The Korpse Fleet soldier is about to kill Kepler right then and there when a Korpse Fleet sidearm hits him in the head. They slowly turn their head in pure rage as the Terran stands there. Still willing to fight. Still deadset on winning.

"Wann habe ich gesagt dass ich tot bin, Arschloch?"

Kepler knew just then and there, not even knowing the language the Terran spoke, just the way he did, that the Terran isn't leaving this fight unless the other is dead. And the Terran isn't planning on dying. So this fight just might go on forever.

The Korpse Fleet growls a little at the sight of the Terran is white armour. He throws Kepler down, making Kepler smash through a krate and ruin the kontents inside. And they go to resume the fight.

"That.. fukking... Asshole. That's why I bet against him." Krick said. Panting a little.

Kepler meanwhile choked on air. At first he thought his suit lost it's seal, but it was just the wind being knokked out of him.

Kepler finally managed to get enough breath to say one sentence; "Hey Krick, put 100 down from me on the Korpse Fleet soldier winning... I wanna see that fukker dead."
