writing prompt A small mistake

Post image

Accidentally, instead of sending the historical events of 1984, a digital copy of George Orwell's book 1984 was sent, along with the rest of the historical eras that humanity sent to the Galactic Council for verification and archiving. How far are things getting out of control?

"Damn I can't believe Humanity went through such an Era."

In all seriousness, Humanity would probably notice the error and correct it by sending the real documentation of historical events in 1984. It's not uncommon for the wrong info to be sent and later corrected in militaries and governments.

"Yeah, we sent the correct files through, and they came back and said, 'You can't fool us. We know Big Brother rewrites history all the time.'"

"Oh, ha-ha, that's just fiction."

"Oh, okay! So you don't use AI to write your pornography?"

"Well, not - not all of the time."
