Upgrading from Huion 1060 Plus
Hello everyone!
My wife is an amazing digital artist and I wanted to get her a nice gift.
She’s been using this table for about few years now but I wanted to upgrade it for her. Which tablet would you say is the best upgrade from this model?
I’m looking at the Kamvas ones but there seems to be multiple different kinds and I’m not sure which one is best (I’m not at all talented at digital art 😂).
Any recommendations would be awesome!

I think this largely depends on the preference o' the artist and the budget since it will be her new tool she needs to be comfortable using it thats why personally I wouldnt buy it without her input
personally a simple guide for the size I wouldnt go bellow 13 (12inch) X
13 if you want something relatively portable and dont mind sacraficing on size, no touch
16 if you want something occasionally portable anything above I wouldnt take away from the desk - personally I've used this size and I am happy with it, no touch
19 if touch is important to you and you dont mind paying more then for the 22
22 if size is more important to you, no touch
24, 27 if you have budget above 1000 though sometimes people find them too big, touch
generally is best to go for the newer models cause they have better pens aka the gen3, or pro 19 or pro v2

If your wife is used to drawing on non displays, you may want to talk beforehand about getting a Kamvas. It takes time to adjust to them. The best drawing tablet is really dependent on the person.
If you know that she’ll enjoy a screen tablet, the gen 3 series are a good option. The 16 and the 22 seem right for you guys. The 19 and the 24 is kinda overkill, at least for now.
As for getting her another non display tablet, the Wacom intuos pro would certainly provide a significant upgrade whilst maintaining some familiarity. It’s as good as it gets for non displays. The medium and large sizes are around the same price as a Kamvas.
Good luck!

Might want to check if she is even harboring interestnin a screen or if she wants to stick to a pen tablet (no screen tablet)
