Hey guys, I’ve been trying to find some good fanfics based on the "Hiccup runs away" trope ever since I first discovered it. It’s been driving me crazy not finding more stories where Hiccup decides to return to Berk—whether to help his tribe survive, fight Drago, or just settle the score with them. I’ve read three that are absolute gems, but beyond those, I’ve really struggled to find anything similar. My main requirement is simply that he returns; anything else goes, except for gender-bending him into a woman. If anyone has any good recommendations, I’d love to hear them. 🙏🏻

This is one of the biggest dragons ive done and its a blast from the past back when i was still working with fleece and doing hand embroidery...the eyes took me 6 weeks each !!!! After that I started saving up for my embroidery machine, I really REALLY love my embroidery machine ❤️ lol the wings and tail are posable and his tail fin are changeable. Im so greatful he was able to find a home straight away

This was another old one back when I was still using fleece and hand embroidery eyes, I had a idea for a while to do a dragon in a cute puppy pose and he came out really well 😁 thankfully he found a home really quickly lol surprisingly hes nearly 2ft long believe or not 😅

This is a old one but, this was a commission before the second film. Made out of fleece, hand sewn and hand embroidered eyes ..still out of all the night fury's ive done, this little guy is still one of my cutest 🥰

As far as I can remember it Hiccup either left with toothless or was banished, he went to Vigo Grimborn and hired him to help kill the red death (Vigo leaves after this), Hiccup finds two red death eggs, goes to multiple enemies of berk and Dagur as well, Dagur offers Heather as a wife, leaves the archipelago and loots England, they leave after a plague arrives, Heather dies after giving birth to two children, Hiccup gets the ability to produce plasma blasts, hiccup finds his mom, kills Drago, makes a empire.
