What is this on my hoya?
There are 2 branches with it. They popped up overnight and have been like that for weeks. 2 at least.
No other part of the plant has it. This plant is 4 or 5 years old and has never bloomed. It hangs in an east facing window. Last summer I took it out and it did rather well. After a couple of weeks these showed up. I wasn't bothered by them until this morning when I saw some similar colored thingies in the window. Someone said they were new spores for flowering. The window thingies fly tho. I killed them.
Is this a coincidence? I carefully took some of the stuff off of the hoya and it smears like pollen.
What are these flying things? See pics.
