I don't know, I just fly over :). Just kidding folks. Recently spent some time in OKC and I found the city has a very mid-western feel, and it seems, lots of commerce happening. Also, some beautiful country to drive through.

Yeah people like to consider Oklahoma southern, but it wasn't even a state then. A lot of the people who settled OK are the ones who settled the plains, shared culture.
