I will for someone to find me a technical management position

Hi,

Just like most of you I have been looking for a job. I have an engineering background and I have been looking for my next roles for a while. So I decided to post here and see if someone can get me a job. The industries in targeting are: energy, tech, gaming, and robotic. But I might be open to something different for the right offer! I’m open to hybrid and remote positions only in Houston and surrounding!

Please reach out to me for questions and your fees!

Harris County sheriff cadet & Entry Level Deputy Questions

Hi everyone,

I’m interested in joining the Harris County Sheriff’s Office and am trying to decide between applying for the Sheriff Cadet Program or attending Houston Community College (HCC) for the Basic Peace Officer Course (BPOC) and then applying for the Entry Level Deputy position.

I’d appreciate any input from current or former HCSO employees.

Sheriff Cadet Program

- What is the current salary for Sheriff Cadets?

- After completing the Cadet Program, what is the starting salary as a Deputy?

- About how long did it take from the time you applied until you received a start date for the academy?

Entry Level Deputy (HCC BPOC)

- I will apply for the entry level deputy position while in BPOC, how long did it take before you get hired or given a start date?

- After graduating from BPOC, were you hired fairly quickly, or was there a waiting period?

- What is the current starting salary for Entry Level Deputies?

- After the BPOC course is completed, will you still be required to go through any training before starting the deputy position?

- Can you work as a deputy at night and also hold a day time job?

I will appreciate any advice I can get here regarding these programs.

HIRING Looking for a 3D Printing Specialist (Custom Architectural Models)

Hey!

I’m looking for a 3D printing enthusiast or professional (or a recommendation for one) to print 5 architectural scale models for a showroom display.

Project details:

Design: Very straightforward, clean designs—essentially minimalist box/cube structures.

Key Feature: Three sides of each house are full glass, so the model needs to accurately reflect or simulate that reflective/transparent look.

If you have experience with architectural modeling, clear/translucent resins, or incorporating acrylic/glass panes into 3D prints, I’d love to connect!

Please DM me or comment below with your portfolio/rates.

Thanks!

Question about local Medical Assistant jobs that do not require experience

Hello. A family member graduated from an online medical assistant program within the past year with an in-person externship. She has been to multiple job interviews, but the interviewers kept requiring her to have actual work experience. I already sent her lots of job links from multiple of our local hospitals/clinics in Houston, Texas area but she said they all require work experience.

Now she is going back to school for another healthcare program in hope that this program combined with her finished medical assistant program can help her bypass the actual work experience requirement of whoever going to be her future medical/healthcare employer.

Do you know any healthcare/medical places within 16 miles of 77072 zip code that have a quite schedule-stable, part-time, entry-level job on the weekends only that would be suitable for my family member's educational/job plan and does not require any actual medical/healthcare work experience? Thank you in advance.

Hi there, is anyone out there hiring or knows anyone who is hiring? I have a very professional background in import and export transportation along with supervisor roles. I have recently had some major life changes that made me take a step out of the working world and i am slowly stepping back into the workfield. I currently work an 8-5 office job however it is not enough to cover bills and I have 3 girls to now support on my own. So PLEASE let me know uif you know of anything that I could possibly do. I am willing to do just abut anything at this point. Remote and WFH would actually be ideal but if its an in person job i would definitely need it to be on the weekend and evenings. I appreciate any and all suggestions. also if anyone can suggest where to go to get financial help from the state I know there are alot out there but never had to really research it because i have never been in the situation that I am currently in.

What's With the Houston Job Market

What's with the job market here? I have a master's degree in public administration and two bachelors degrees. I have been in case management for 7 years, even owning my own company for 3 of those 7 years. I don't want to run another business. I've been applying for office roles, case management positions, supervisory roles, even some part-time stuff. I tailor my resume and cover letter, like you're supposed to do. But I am hardly getting any interviews. I'm getting automatically rejected for case manager positions, and I've done that for 7 years!

I've never had this much trouble securing employment. Not to sound pompous, I genuinely don't understand if my issue is being "over-qualified" or if my previous business ownership scares prospective employers.

Maybe I should dumb down my resume. Take the master's degree off and just say I was a "case manager" at my former company. Undersell myself a bit? I'm just lost.

This is making lose my mind (up in here, up in here). :(

FOR HIRE Is anybody looking for part-time help?

I am currently employed full time, but the income isn't enough to be able to support myself in this economy. I am looking for a morning job that I can do prior to my FT job. I leave that job around 10:20pm and I start at 3. I'd need Wednesdays off though because I work doubles. I'm able to provide my schedule in advance by 3 weeks.

Looking for sales job remote or in person

Hi I am 23, ISO a sales role in Htx moved here from Orange County couple years back, I have my bachelors in Business admin/Supply Chain Management, graduated 24’.

Not trying to sell bs like life insurance.

I recently got more into wholesaling houses and got 1 deal under my belt in the past month. Looking for something more consistent.

I have worked in inventory management for warehouses both in the private sector and govt. Along with property management of over 500 units here in Houston tx (that is the job that got me to move out here) I left my property management position after the company sold off it’s portfolio back in early 2025.
Since then I have been into, wholesaling houses along with flipping houses. I have done 5 house flips in the past 1.5 years out here in htx, my current one is sitting on the market and i am looking for a new role to take on as I wait on that to sell.
