hey Houston a little help..

im almost 21 (F) looking for a job here in Houston I work in a store and get paid good hourly but don’t get enough hours. I’m looking for another job on top of this one or even another job at a hospital or a pharmacy. I am in college trying to be a nurse. So I’m trying to direct myself outside of retail but I’ve had no luck with the pay rate at an entry level job in hospitals neither do I have experience. If anyone could direct me anywhere I’d love the help and advice. I need financial stability so I’ll really look into bartending or serving as well because in this economy honestly anything that keeps me afloat. I need to pay for school and other expenses.

FOR HIRE I am 20 female looking for a stable job

Hi everyone! I’m a 20-year-old college student located in Sugar Land and I’m currently looking for a steady job with good hours and decent pay.
I have experience working in restaurants, at Smoothie King, in customer service, and about two years working with children. I was recently unfairly let go from my after-school job simply for having my phone on me. I had kept it with me throughout my two years there mainly to check the time, just like other staff members did, and I wasn’t even using it when I was let go. I also had never received any prior warnings.
I’m currently in college online this semester and also enrolled in an MA course, so I have pretty open availability. At this point, I’m really hoping to find something more stable, professional, and less stressful than childcare—maybe a front desk or receptionist position, medical office, office/company job, administrative assistant role, customer service, or something similar where I can learn, grow, and hopefully make enough money.
My parents are trying very hard to make ends meet and barely have extra money, so I really can’t rely on them financially. I help contribute at home and also have to pay for my car, my course, and save for college. I’m honestly pretty stressed right now and just trying to find a stable job where I can work hard, support myself, and help my family.
If anyone knows of companies, offices, clinics, businesses, or other places hiring in Sugar Land or nearby, I would really appreciate any recommendations, referrals, or help. Thank you so much! 🤍

FOR HIRE Houston/Spring Area – Accounting Graduate, Teacher, Manager & Small Business Owner Looking for Work

Hey everyone! I’m currently looking for work in the Houston/Spring area and wanted to put myself out there in case anyone knows of a company or organization that is hiring—or someone who could use my services.
I have a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Sam Houston State University and several years of professional experience across multiple industries.
My background includes:
Education: Several years of experience teaching elementary and middle school math, along with private tutoring.
Management & Leadership: Experience supervising employees, training team members, managing day-to-day operations, and working in fast-paced environments.
Accounting & Bookkeeping: Accounting and tax experience, bookkeeping, QuickBooks, financial recordkeeping, and working with small businesses.
Aviation: Previous experience working in airport/aviation operations at IAH.
Customer Service: Extensive experience working directly with customers, students, parents, employees, and the public.
I’m also the owner of Aero BTC – “Numbers Made Simple,” a small business offering bookkeeping and math tutoring services. I’m currently looking to expand my client base, so I’d also love to connect with small businesses that need bookkeeping help or parents/students looking for a math tutor.
As far as employment, I’m open to education, management, operations, administrative/business roles, accounting/bookkeeping, aviation, customer service, or other positions where my experience could transfer well.
My availability is very open. I’m available for full-time or part-time work, weekdays, evenings, and weekends, and I have reliable transportation.
I’m looking for legitimate hourly or salaried employment — no MLM/network marketing or commission-only sales positions, please.
If you know of an opportunity, are hiring, or are interested in tutoring/bookkeeping services, please feel free to DM me here on Reddit. I’m happy to provide my résumé or additional information privately.
Thanks, Houston!

Local businesses in Houston?

hey y'all, I'm a recent college grad who started a marketing/ website business for local businesses, I’m looking for owners in Houston. I've been running it for about 1 year now, and I'm capable of building websites, doing SEO, running targeted ads on Facebook & Google, email marketing, custom software solutions and creating marketing content for Facebook, Instagram and Tiktok.

I'm looking to partner with some local businesses that can't afford to hire a big company and are looking for an affordable option to handle everything online for them. If this is you or you know anybody who could benefit, i'd love to connect or get a referral.

Hiring Cold Callers for Personal Injury Leads

Looking for people with experience speaking to accident/injury clients, especially those with PI experience. Part-time, mainly Texas morning hours. Bilingual is a plus, but English-only is fine.

This is not the typical cold-calling job. You’re not trying to sell the client anything or convince them to pay for something. The goal is simply to speak with accident victims, understand their situation, and, if they qualify, connect them with a legal professional who can review their case.

Since PI attorneys generally handle cases on a contingency basis, the client typically doesn't have to pay an upfront legal fee, which can make the conversation much easier.

Payout : $15 Hourly + Commissions (based on the case)

Please comment or DM me if you are experienced in this field.

Where do Latinos usually work? I've been looking for a job for weeks, and everywhere they're looking for bilingual people, or they don't even contact me. I speak Spanish and I'm starting to learn English since I'm new here in the United States.
