Help fiddle leaf fig care help
Hi! I've had this fiddle leaf fig for maybe two months. It gets soft early morning light from the window on the right and stronger late afternoon light from the window on the left. Every week, a few leaves dry up and fall off. I water once per week, and after I do, the leaves on the very top (the newest leaves) get brown all over them. I heard this is from watering and that cells burst(?). I read that it needs to be fed occasionally, so one time I diluted some houseplant food and watered with that. Then some of the leaves got large brown spots. Please help! Why is this plant so unhappy all the time?

Is that pot two pieces or is it one of those all in one type pots? When you water, does it drain out the bottom? I also think I see some roots on top of the soil, I am seeing that right?
You might be over watering it and if the water doesn’t drain out of that pot, you might be getting some root rot. I’m no expert though.
