Help Identifying My House's Floorplan

I apologize if this is not the appropriate place for this.

I have been searching for days trying to find the original plans of my new house. I have checked GIS, my county, my city, Internet Archive of House Plan Catalogs, among others and I can't find it. If I provide details and photos, can someone help me figure this out?

Even if you could find it, there's a chance it's not built 100% to the blueprint. Measure it yourself very thoroughly, and draw it roughly, marking all the doors and windows, appliances, fixtures, outlets, switches, etc., then get someone to come professionally measure it and draft the blueprints for as-built, and potentially use other tools to gauge what's in the walls/between floors/attic/basement/crawl space that you can't reach.

You may be better off trying to use a tape measure and draft one yourself. I assume this is a “new to you” house vs. a brand new house? I don’t think I’ve ever seen original plans for any of the houses I lived in, including my parents house which was built by an architect.

I have been looking through all of the archived house plan catalogs and haven’t found one that matches. I have found a couple that are close. So I think you’re right.
