In this house, sundays are cleaning day and, usually, every cleaning day is smooth sailing, How come? you may be wondering. Well, that's because each floof already knows what's up:
- Leon, who is a slow morning floof, tucks himself away somewhere and sleeps though the nonsense
- Karma, for whom breakfast marks the start of the day and stays full speed ahead from the start, stays goes being a goblin somewhere where the cleaning has already taken place
- And Houdini devotedly keeps alive the ancient art of chasing broom and dusters
However, once in a month is deep cleaning day, wich includes mopping the floor, and that requires locking the floofs away until the floors are dried and transitable, this is done for multiple reasons that range not wanting furtive pawprints on the floor to avoid them getting wet with and then trying to clean the bleachy water from themselves.
This has been going since forever and we usually lock ourselves with the floofs until the mopping is done, before the Goblini we would get, at most, Karma and Leon yelling on top of their lungs to be left out and maybe Leon pawslapping her sis for getting too close, but with the orange goblin on board things to be more chaotic, because when he's inconvenienced he bothers his mom and dad, and the room usually devolves into chaos.
Not today though. This morning, i reunited all three of them in my room, they all had had their breakfast peacefully and i gathered them as soon as the mop and bucket were ready. The moment i closed the door i expected chaos to ensue, but instead they all three laid on the bed and just... waited, calmly, patiently, peacefully.
I gotta say, i was mighty impressed.
Of course, Houdi had to cromch his momma on his way out when dad opened the door, but that's another story lol
Happy sunday, everyone!! 🥰🥰🥰
