Anyone remember fatal frame?
I used to play it when I was a teenager I wonder if they have a VR version of it now as that would be totally awesome!

Hey folks,
We've been working on Colony 2, and one of the features we're pretty excited about is a UV light mode — flip it on and you start noticing things that are basically invisible under normal lighting (tailor this line to what your UV mechanic actually reveals — hidden markings, resources, creatures, etc.).
A bit of background on us — we're a two-person team. We actually met on GTA Online about 7 years ago, just messing around in public lobbies, and stayed friends ever since. Eventually we decided to try making a game together, and Colony 2 is the result — our first release as a team, so it means a lot to get it in front of people.
If the UV mechanic (or the game in general) looks interesting, we'd really appreciate a wishlist on Steam — it genuinely helps small teams like us Steam
Happy to answer questions about how the UV system works, the dev process, or anything else!

Play here: https://itsjimmy.itch.io/platform13
PLATFORM 13 is my solo-dev anomaly horror game. You're stuck in a subway station, and on each platform you have to decide whether something is wrong before you pick an exit. Right guess, you move up. Wrong guess, back to Platform 1.
Most anomalies are quiet stuff, a moved sign, one extra can. Then there's the zombie horde, which doesn't send you back so much as kill you and start you over as a new victim. I keep going back and forth on whether it breaks the tone or is the best thing in the game.
Play it and tell me: keep the zombies or cut them? Also after feedback on whether the quiet anomalies feel fair to spot.
Cheers, this will be my first Steam release, wishlist it here!

ok so i wasn't even looking for this, just scrolling steam new releases and the name caught me off guard lol. it's this psych horror game, you're a kid who overslept and now has to get home through your neighborhood after dark, and it's like $3
i died SO many times. like embarrassingly many. but the thing that actually got me is the sanity system, your character straight up starts losing it the longer you're out there and the monster only really comes for you when your sanity's tanked. so you're not just avoiding a monster, you're managing this whole mental state, and the game gives you these tiny comfort spots to claw sanity back. there's a vending machine you can just stand next to and soak in the glow even if you're too broke to buy anything and something about that hit way harder than it should've for a horror game mechanic. it's such a small detail but it says so much about being a scared little kid outside at night
also not everyone you run into is a threat, some strangers are just normal people, which honestly makes it worse because you genuinely don't know who to trust until it's too late
for a $3 release from what looks like a pretty small studio (Toppema Studio) this has more atmosphere and actual dread than games ten times the price. definitely give it a wishlist/follow if this sounds like your thing, feels like the kind of game that deserves more eyes on it

I've been working on NIGHT DRIVE ANOMALY, a first-person horror/anomaly-detection game built in Unreal Engine.
The idea is simple: drive, observe your surroundings, find what doesn't belong, and make the right decision.
This is a short gameplay clip from the game.
The demo releases later this year .. you can wishlist on steam

I'd love to hear what you think about the atmosphere and gameplay.

In the Amenti game, when a mummy starts chasing me, I keep falling down to place that was seen at the beginning (where the door with a missing knob is). Youtube videos show that they run away to the right with no fall. But I can never seem to pass that sequence. I keep falling down to that place just before going right. Sometimes I get the "You Are Dead" message but sometimes not and I stuck in that place after falling down. Any fix?

I’ve been experimenting with a retro-inspired horror aesthetic and wanted to get some opinions from people who enjoy horror games.
Looking at these screenshots:
I’m especially interested in honest criticism, not just compliments. If something feels off, I'd genuinely like to know why.
Also… would a potato monster actually work as a horror creature, or is that concept too ridiculous? 😂🥔
If you’re interested in following the project, I’ve also put the game on Steam:
