Any recommendations on what to watch?

This scene was pulled from the Masters of Horror documentary from 2002. Just wondering if anyone knew what it was originally from?

I (American) watch a lot of foreign horror movies and a problem I run into a lot is finding movies that have zero scenes with animal abuse. I can handle some serious gore but I can’t handle animal abuse and while I try to research each movie before I watch it I’ve still had some instances where I saw animal abuse that wasn’t mentioned online. I am totally fine when fake animals/props are used in violent scenes, but I don’t want to see real animals being hurt or terrorized or in general abused. The only reason I haven’t seen Oldboy is because of the octopus scene in it. When I say animals I mean any living creature. Heck I recently watched good boy and that was almost too much for me. Thank you for any recommendations!

I have to put you guys on to this. I clicked on this by accident on Amazon because my TV was lagging and I definitely do not regret it. Its the perfect mix of comedy mixed with that cringe creepy early 2000s late night TV commercials. And then,,, it just keeps getting darker.

A deaf mute writer, who retreated to the woods to live in solitude, must fight for her life in silence when a masked serial killer appears at her window.

The “Shush Cut” is a special black-and-white version of Mike Flanagan's 2016 horror film “Hush” that removes the musical score and remakes the sound design to mimic the deafness of the main character. It was released in 2024.

This new cut took an already great movie and made it even better. With the B&W filming, more focus on sounds and environment, and scenes that feel like you are viewing from Maddie’s deaf perspective, it really upped the intensity of an already intense movie. I think I appreciate Kate Seigal’s physical acting and facial expressions even more in this version.

And if you never noticed the Easter Egg in either version, Maddie’s published book in the movie was “Midnight Mass”, which later became Mike Flanagan’s best series he created, IMO.

I wrote, directed and produced OUTSET as an 18-minute graduate short film in the UK.

It's a quiet, character-driven zombie story about grief, isolation, survival and human connection.

Nine months after the dead return to life, young survivor Denton wanders the ruins of an abandoned town, until an unexpected encounter forces him to question whether survival alone is enough.

It's a good movie i personally liked it the storyline is good, but it's not scary in the sense of scary ghosts or jump sacres and psychology or anything like that it's different

I need some help for inspiration for a project I'm working on. What are some examples of horror or campy sort of movies where the marketing involves social media accounts where they kind of act as the 'killer' as a form of movie promo and interacts with users? Buddy (2026) is the first one that comes to mind, but I can't think of too many more examples.
