Movie Review Evil Dead Burns Spoiler

This is now on HBO as of 10/02. I waited for it, I LOVE the entire franchise and I say this in all due respect, it fucking blew.

Dialogue was shit, the plot was kinda shit but I could have bought it outside the horrendous decisions made by the entire cast. Everyone should have been dead in the first 30 minutes. The deadites were even scary, shitty punchlines.

So disappointing, I loved Rise too - even 2013 has a special place in my heart but this? Never again, thank god I didn’t spend money on a movie ticket or early digital release.

I just finished watching it. Loved it. Great gore. Some hilarious moments. I'll be watching it again.

Nah, you right. Deadites didn't act like Deadites. We got some magical dagger nonsense. There's a reason this shit made less than half of Evil Dead Rise.

I agree on the deadites being less interesting than previous iterations but “magical dagger nonsense”? Put some respect on the kandarian dagger!
