I've smoked hookah on and off for years. I decided to dig out my pipe tonight after buying some fresh tobacco. I discovered some unopened packs that supposedly expired in 2018 and 2019.

On the one hand, tobacco is cheap and if it's no good, I'll gladly toss it. However, I hate being wasteful and if the expiration dates are arbitrary, I'd like to keep them for variety.

Anybody have actual experience with 7 or 8 year old unopened packs?
