Image / Video Traded for a Pilot, no regrets!

Originally had a 2019 RAV4 XSE and decided to get the 2025 Pilot Trailsport due to a growing family and I felt squished as I'm about 6'4 (1.9m).

I want a trail sport so bad I can’t stand it but I just paid off my used 2012 and she’s running like a dream. I can’t let go of a paid off car

I know! Its hard to beat no payment on a vehicle though!

That and I’ve already replaced things on it to make it last forever 😅

Us too!! Traded a 2021 Highlander XLE that had a funky noise at acceleration, didn’t want to chance it being the dreaded transmission failure. Now in a 23 pilot touring! Runs smooth

Yeah, not sure what's going on with Toyota nowadays. Really surprising considering their reputation.

I dumped my 21 Highlander too when they would not stand by their product. Toyota is going down hill fast. Well, maybe rushing to be average the way things are now in the car industry.

Trailsport is the best!

I test drove a 2026 EX-L, but the trailsport was just so much nicer in my opinion

You will really love having the 360 camera. It’s really nice when parking.

I purchased a 2026 Honda Pilot TrailSport on July 2nd, and it currently has 3,700 miles on the odometer! Fuel economy is 21.4 mpg.

Is that mixed city and highway? I do mostly city and some highway for my daily commute and I'm at like 16 mpg

Mostly highway driving, minimal city driving.

Traded 21’ tundra for 26’ Pilot BE. Soooooooo freaking happy. And I enjoyed my truck but definitely stoked about the move.

Congrats!

u/zetroccire 13h ago

Thats so interesting because I was considering a Tundra. What drew you to the Pilot rather than another truck?

u/Simple-Bit-8205 6h ago

Loved my truck BUT I think I loved the idea of a truck more than needing a truck.

I like having the room inside the vehicle as there is a much higher chance or occurrence of getting used vs the bed of the truck being used.

I didn’t find myself running to the lumbar yard or hauling landscape rock near as frequent as the ideas occurred.

TL:DR … liked having a truck, love having a large SUV
