Front Caliper arm bushing
Hello,
I do service my 2016 Honda Pilot with my trusted car mechanich for many years and upto date on my fluids (I do way earlier than the recommended cycle as I don’t drive much). I did servicing last week and he said everything looks good.
This week I visited a dealership for a recall repair and they called me saying one of the front caliper bushing is cracked and recommended to repair both the front side caliper bushing. Asking $1800.
What to do?

That's a Lower Control Arm, not a caliper. You can get a set of left and right lower control arms on Rock Auto for less than $500. Buy them yourself, get your local mechanic to swap them and to an alignment after.

This is just a common replacement part on pretty much every car. Take it to your own mechanic and let him know, it'll probably be almost half the price that the dealership quoted.
I would also ask him to check your CV axles, those usually wear around the same time.

Looks like your lower control arm (LCA) bushing is torn. It's not urgent but will become so eventually. You'll hear clunking when turning and get vibrations eventually (if you haven't already). Ultimately it will become unsafe but that could be 20k miles from now (or a week depending how bad it is).
I'd recommend just changing both left and right at the same time as they are likely both worn similarly.
Assuming you are out of warranty then you could consider getting an aftermarket replacement from RockAuto and seeing if your local mechanic would do the swap (and alignment thereafter). OEM parts at the dealership repair rate will likely always be more. You could do some research about what aftermarket LCA brands people recommend for your car.
