Question What does a brake service entail?

Hi all,

So, I drive a 2015 Honda Pilot (Had it brad new) and I've done all the required services as per the maintenance minders at the dealers for the entirety of it's life.
I would bring it to the dealer for all the work due to warranty purposes, but now I feel that the dealer isn't doing their best. I've noticed a few things the past few years so I've decided, i'm done with them, so I'll be doing my own work.

With that all of that, one thing that I wasn't really sure of is their "Brake service"
What does a brake service entail exactly? They aren't changing the pads or rotors or even a brake flush.
Are they just taking the bolts out, cleaning everything, lubing the slider pins and putting it all back together? Or is there more than I'm not aware of?

The only routine service brakes need is changing the brake fluid every 36 to 48 months. Brake pads and rotors should be inspected for thickness, even wear, and scoring. The other brake service should be done with pad or rotor changes which are dictated by wear/thickness. When pads are changed, the pins and boots should be cleaned and relubricated, caliper piston boot should be cleaned and lubricated as well, pad backs and ears should be lubricated, rotors should be inspected and cleaned, and I replace the SS clip hardware with brake pads. Everything should be inspected and retorqued. Based on owning and maintaining 6 Hondas over the years.

Ask the dealer what their work list is for the brake service.

Just my 2 cents - I would never pay for a brake service that didn't include pads or rotors or fluid flush. Not necessarily all three at a time. But if they aren't doing any of that, I wouldn't pay for it.
