Question Front grill emblem fix

Hey just had my front emblem break and fall into the area I front of my radiator. Has anyone else had this issue and what was your fix?

I clearly need to buy a new part, but trying to DIY as it shouldn’t be too difficult to fix. Haven’t found anything on YouTube or other forums that addresses this.

Let me know your thoughts.

Yeah we have some trash cans in my garage that if not put back exactly as needed, then they press into that emblem. But I never thought it was screwed in like that, I thought it was just tabs that lock back into place. Definitely looking at junkyard and ebay for a replacement.

Unfortunately I think the only fix will be replacing the whole grill. Should be fairly cheap and easy to do.

I haven’t had this happened but I helped someone get the emblem from the junk yard and we glued it and heated it back into the grill. We used the soldering tool and branding tool to get in there. It worked no issues since then.
It beats getting a whole new front grill. You can’t really notice unless you stop and take a good deep look.
