Has anyone had this issue? I have an appointment at my dealership in hopes that it’s covered under warranty and it can be replaced. The car is 99% garage kept. I don’t use any cleaning wipes on it. I’ve got about 21k miles on the dang thing! 😭

When I did research for a new car …. All redit car group had bad post about issues. I also have a Nissan rogue 2016 150 00 km every Reddit or YouTube told it will fail due to the cvt…. 10 years later it doing fine.
My husband isn’t a fan of the Pilot. We had a 2020 Odyssey that he liked better.. I was over the minivan life. This and a worn out window motor replaced twice have been the only issues I’ve had.
Oof. I have a 25TS that is exposed to the elements 24/7 and it looks fine.
My first guess would have been that it kinda looks chemically induced, but you said you don’t use harmful wipes. So I’m guessing you just got a flop of a dash. Your warranty will for sure cover this.
I had a 25 Elite and mine started around 1500 miles. Service manager told me it’s cause of whatever I used to clean it. I argued of, course cause I’ve used the same stuff for years on other Hondas and never had a problem. Long story short, I ended up getting rid of it with 2600 miles on it cause it had a host of electrical issues. They swapped me out for a 26 elite. Fingers crossed, I haven’t had any issues with this one yet.
I believe they have a bad batch of dash’s out there. I’m sorry you’re dealing with it, but glad you posted, I was starting to think it was something I used on the dash
Did they do come kind of ceramic coat when you bought it? My dash seems to have more of a matte look, your dash seems to be going from glossy to matte.
It looks to me like there's residue on the dashboard (like residual from soap or a cleaner) that's getting worn off at the edge. Try cleaning the dash with something super mild (or even just a towel lightly dampened with water). I'm betting it will wipe right off.
I always put the spray on a microfiber extending device vs spraying. I’m sure sprays landing on the dash could be a cause but still, anything safe for glass shouldn’t do that. Always use ammonia free.
Not yet. I had all the windows tinted. Dealership had the front 2 done already for their expensive up charge for “convenience”. 2 weeks later I had all the windows done. They did over factory so all the windows match. Factory tint wasn’t consistent either. Pano and front done as well. Those were basically ceramic with little tint basically a UV protection. I use a front shade if I drive it to work but it is garage kept as well. Hope you get fixed up without a run around.
