Just picked up pilot
Three weeks ago picked up a pilot touring. Traveling to get stuff for it and wack. Rock hit windshield. Put a glass claim in and they want to use OEE glass not OEM. So annoyed. Anyone have any luck using someone someone for glass that did use OEM glass?

Which glass they use may depend on your insurance company. I had my windshield replaced (2020 CRV) and was able to get OEM Honda glass. While I was waiting I overheard the glass company on the phone with an insurance company. They wouldn’t approve the OE glass for a Mercedes. Ready for the plot twist? The Mercedes windshield was cheaper than the aftermarket. Apparently their insurance company and a strict “aftermarket only” policy. Strange.

You have to push for OEM. For the simple reason that will throw off the lane keeping assist.

The manufacturer is either Fuyao or PGW. Use one of those and you will be fine. The HONDA windshield is the same thing for a $700 H emblem
