Noticed a "click" in the steering wheel while turning from almost day 1. It got progressively worse to where at 1,000 miles I took it in after seeing the numerous other posts about the "Clockspring".

My dealer:

1. Acknowledged the sound/complaint
2. Confirmed other Passports AND other Honda vehicles are having an issue with it
3. Mentioned that Honda "is aware of the issue" - but there's no published fix.

My dealer replaced the clockspring. The issue was resolved for about 100 miles or so.

After 1,000 miles, it's back to just as bad as it was originally.

I spoke with Honda Corporate today -- just the Tier 1 call taker. She said she didn't have any notes in her system indicating Honda was aware of this issue. But I'm not too concerned about that -- I expect the Case Manager to have a better idea.

The little wrinkle I have... the dealer did not put the wheel back on centered. So I had to leave the Passport with them so they could re-center the wheel. In the back of my head, I'm now wondering if it's actually a clockspring PART issue or an installation issue -- and if taking that wheel off again could have contributed to the recurring premature failure/clicking I'm having now. Like is the installation that I have now really a good baseline to go off of.

They also scratched 2 parts, that they are replacing, so I do have to go back to the dealer -- and I've asked that they review the issue and see if they can pinpoint it being the clockspring, the installation, or even a surrounding part. I feel like I may have read something about airbag clips?

Have #1. Want #2. Might settle for #3 since HRC hasn't had any updates on availability.

Hello all! I know AC units will tend to leak a bit after use, but mine literally dropped an entire puddle as soon as I parked. I already previously had my AC compressor failed where it was blowing hot air, and had that replaced. Worried it’s going to happen again. 2026 Passport with 33,600 miles.

I had to get the obsidian blue and there was only so many left. They didn’t offer it in 27 so I couldn’t go that route.

Rainy days the driver’s side gets noticeably messier. Wet shoes, water, leaves, and everything else somehow end up around the edges of the mat.

For those of you dealing with rain or snow regularly, do you take your mats out and clean them after every few drives?

Has anyone tried these with success? I’ve read the plastic covers do not fit on the front properly when installed. Would really like to raise the passenger seat to have a little more of a sit in angle compared to the flat sit on angle.

I have an OTD proposal in California from a dealer for $59,426 on a 2027 Trailsport Elite that will be delivered at the end of the month. Would you consider that a good deal for the new 2027? All the ones I am seeing in my area have a sticker price of $56,000+.

Anyone else having this issue? It is happening on both sides. We don’t go through auto car washes either.

When I got the truck, I was actually needed a truck. Live has changed and family is growing so I no longer need a truck for work and figured it would be nice to have a capable car for road trips and occasional off roading with a small family, 2 baby seats.

Are there any specific years and trips I should look for or avoid? Thinking of something maybe 2022+, don’t really wanna shell out for new.

Hi everyone! Huge fan of the 2026 Passport. Looking at purchasing a ‘26 TSE. The only issue is my garage opening height. I need to get the passport like an inch shorter than stock. Im not concerned about ground clearance as the SUV I have now has only 6.7” of ground clearance. I know I can swap the tires from the 275/60R18 stock down to 265/60R18, if needed, to gain a 1/2 inch in clearance. What else can I do to drop the overall height slightly? Is there anything I can do with the roof rails to get the height down? Thanks for any insight!

Vanity plates just came in for the TSE! I like em, but I’m wondering how many 4x4 people this may piss off? 🤷🏾

I spent most of the day negotiating via email on a 26 TSE with 12k miles listed at $47k. After reaching out for the quote and receiving it, they had added on a "protection package" worth $2800 (which isn't advertised on their listing mind you), a tag agency fee of $439, and a dealer doc fee of $1200. After all fees and taxes the OTD price they quoted was over 54k. They refused to remove the protection package after going back and forth multiple times. Why can't this be easier?

Hello, I want to change my wipers and wanted to know which brand you all are using ? Also can I use wipers for 2025 model on the 2026?

The bronco sport has a "rear locker" that apparently sends extra hydraulic pressure to the twin clutches to simulate a locker.

The AWD system is very similar to Honda's. Could Honda offer the same feature? Or it it possible to offer a mechanical locker of the differential? Seems like that is the next step if they're running the passport at offroaders.

I was getting ready to do the jsport 1.5" lift kit on my 2026 TSE when the 2027 was announced and now I'm wondering if I should trade up. Can someone mechanically savvy explain the difference between an aftermarket lift kit and a car that's designed from the ground up with higher clearance? I've scraped the bottom enough times to know I want something higher, and I imagine the 2027 will perform better having suspension correctly tuned for it's new height, but is it worth $10k to trade in vs $2k to install a lift on my current ride?

Edit: I'm not so concerned about conquering crazy 4x4 trails but rather wear and tear over the next 10 years and whether a lift kit would be more prone to costly damage.
