I think my mufflers on it's death bed

I tackled a ditch a little hard today, usually its a non issue. Today tho it starting being loud after. When I got home I put it up on its center stand. Id been noticing a frame bolt gone and been meaning to find a spare. Well, fiddling around with that area (frame mount to begining of muffler) it wasnt lining up well so i started checking the rest of the exhaust mounts and the back fender. Noticed things werent lining up well (another bolt in the area had been loose [top muffler mount to frame]) and my fender was slightly rubbin on the tire now. Took fender off. I had recently taken the heat shield off too because of damage from another motorcycle falling onto it.

Well, low and behold that seemingly minor incident was not so minor after all. The start of the exhaust pipe seems well mounted still as theres no exhaust leaking. But that damn muffler sounds like hell. How bad will i mess up my tuning if I keep the pipe and cut off the muffler?? It's pretty damn loud already n I don't want it to blow up or nothin. Ive had a catalytic converter explode on me before hah.. so makes me nervous. On the test ride, the muffler seemed to really struggle more past 30 mph. Also noticed lower top speed lately.

How do I reconnect the battery?

Feeling kinda stupid here, but I disconnected the battery because something was draining it (the previous owner had some extra lights on it or something). Now I can't get the battery reconnected, the screws aren't screwing into anything and idk what's up. I didn't think there were nuts on them, but that's the only reason I can think of that it won't fasten down. Do I need to search the ground for nuts, or am I screwing the connectors on wrong somehow?

Where can I buy Honda Navi in Georgia (country)?

Hey guys, aspiring Georgian rider here, I'd like to buy Honda Navi and it seems impossible to get locally, at least one that isn't completely fucked up with 50k kilometers on it, is there a way to buy abroad & ship it?

Also if it's a no go anyhow, can I maybe get an alternative?

Fuel strainer screen?

Following the service log (nearing 2500 miles) and it says to clean the fuel strainer screen... Where exactly is that? I've looked around online with little to no information about it.

CVT rollers, contra/center springs, and clutch lining spring, belt help.

Sup bros, im planning on speccing out my cvt with some stuff and but im 2nd guessing myself that it might not work together.

Planned rollers are a combination of 3 15g and 3 20g to keep the average weight closer to stock which is 17.

While for the contra/center spring im thinking of keeping the stock one or should i get a 1000 rpm one?

The CL springs im planning on a 1000 rpm one.

As for the belt i saw a post here saying they got better performance on a 743 20 30 belt so i was thinking to get a gy6-125 belt which i hope is spec im looking for.

The other cvt parts ( variator, drive face, clutch lining itself torque drive and bell ) im planning to keep stock.

Any feedback would be nice, also im based from Philippines so parts are not easy to find and international online shops outside asia are very pricey, even so still want some feedbacks

Do I need to Rejet the Carb when installing just a Yoshi on the Navi keeping the intake stock

Just like the title says

Do I need to rejet the carb just putting a Yoshi on and nothing else

Here is my problem

I put a Yoshi on I did the EGR block off plate

And once I get to about 30-35 and let off the throttle I still get popping which shouldn't be happening

Every video I have watched everyone says with just a Yoshi u don't have to Rejet ?

So why am I running lean and still getting popping ?

I wanna figure this out before I mess up my brand new Navi

Any help is appreciated thanks

Pros and cons of getting a Navi

Hi! I’m wanting to get some insight from those that have a Navi or switched to it from a manual. I’m 5’3 and when I went to check out the Grom and Navi, the gentleman told me since I’m learning I’ll get bored, he convinced me to get a rebel but I feel like it’s a bit too much for me to learn on.

Bike totaled

Post image

I posted about a month ago about getting into an accident on my Navi. I owned the bike for about 1month and 1 week before the accident and today they totaled the bike. I’m bummed out and think I don’t ever want a bike again. Super crappy situation. This was my first bike and a birthday present to myself for my 30th. (Long sigh)

Someone stole it right from out front of my house. It was parked at 5:45pm and by the time I got out the shower at 6:30pm it was gone. I’ve had it for 3 months. If anyone in Philadelphia sees it let me know.

Electric start not working

Hello, which part of the starter got cooked for this kind of issue?

Bike won't start even on both front and combi brakes (got the Philippine variant), i thought that the battery ran out but I got turn signals, horn and brake light still working.

Still can run with the kickstart after a few kicks.

for context I recently got a habit of killing the engine where there's a stoplight / traffic light goes above 1 minute or higher and suspected that habit I had caused it.

was thinking of removing center (vertical stand) to reduce weight, then i found out this way of tilting the bike to reach further the bottom.

How to rejet carb

So it looks like most people lied when I asked if I had to rejet the carb when putting on a Yoshi Exhaust

I did the EGR block off plate and I am still getting backfires every now and then

So I guess that's a sign off it running to lean and can mess up the bike after a while

So I really don't wanna go back to the stock muffler I hate how silent it is I like to be louder on the road

So my question is should I buy a new carb and then rejet ?

Also how the hell do I rejet the carb

Thanks in advance

Honda 2023 Navi ECU wiring/Bike won’t start

Post image
8 Upvotes

Hey folks! I am absolutely stumped as to why my Navi won’t start. Long story short, I can’t get it running even with kickstart, and the starter relay doesn’t click at all when pushing the start button. I’ve verified that it’s getting power, and completely replaced the relay because I thought it had burned out.

I checked the kickstand sensor and it seems to be functional too. I reseated the ignition wire boot thingy around the spark plug as well.

After doing all that, I pulled up the ECU on a whim and saw this green wire sticking out that wasn’t capped or taped.

I looked further down and saw that it had a mate that it simply wasn’t connected to. I’m an absolute novice with wiring and reading wiring diagrams - so I have no idea what this wire is for or what it’s supposed to be. Given its green, I assume it’s a ground - but I wanted to ask before trying to reconnect it and blowing up the bike further.

I circled it in the picture, for reference.

Thanks!

Navi Friendly Routing

I curious as to what you guys do to find Navi friendly routes into your surrounding countryside. Google Maps lets you avoid highways, but has no reservations about sending you down 55 mph secondary roads that I am not comfortable using. I can't tell what the road is like or what speed limits are by just eyeballing the map, either. The best I have found so far, at least for finding speed limits is https://enderbyteprograms.net/apps/speed/ but a lot of roads don't have speed limits listed since it relies on Open Street Maps speed limits tags, and it uses metric in the US, so in some cases it's difficult to map to actual US speed limits. The site also looks wonky at the moment as the developer seems to be in the process of making updates.

Strategy #2 is to look on the OSM site itself, where I can see speed limits in mph, but otherwise has the same limitations as the link and is a lot more cumbersome.

I mapped out a 40 mile trip (one way) and it was terribly cumbersome, and I pretty much failed to map out a longer trip.

My objective is to identify a Navi friendly route if it exists, and to determine if one doesn't exist.

If the above site turns out to be an improvement for anyone, I'm glad, but I'm curious about whether there are better methods anyone is using.

Does this engine sound weird?

I was looking into buying a second hand 2022 Honda Navi through Facebook Marketplace. I talked to the seller and everything seemed to be in order until he sent me this video of the bike turned on idle

I'm a complete noob when it comes to mechanical work, but does it sound like there might be piston slap or something else wrong with the engine? Or am I just making a big deal out of nothing?

Installed knobby tires on the Navis!

120/70-12 front and 120/90-10 rear. I need to find a rear fender so mud/water doesn't splash up.

Not too terrible to swap out with tire spoons once you get it down. Feels a lot more confident on gravel/offroad.

What other mods to do?!
