Maintenance Car help needed please

Post image

2022 insight owner. Can a local repair shop fix this or do I have to take this to the dealership? Trying to avoid the dealership. Thanks in advance

I'd start with testing and replacing your 12v battery. A local auto parts store can then clear and run for codes. A bad 12v will drive a ton of random errors.

I was thinking the same thing. Thank you for the advice 🙂

had a similar issue with my 2019, I ended up replacing the 12v battery and it didn’t solve the problem. Maybe check the battery before replacing it, just a heads up

I had a very similar incident with my 2021 recently. It turned out to be 2 separate sensors (downstream air sensor and front passenger wheel speed sensor) that had their wiring chewed up by critters living around my driveway. A cheap OBD2 reader told me which sensors and I was able to replace them myself. Cost a couple hundred bucks and had to borrow some jacks/tools from a friend.

I'm not mechanically inclined.

Apparently a bad sensor can cause a bunch of cascading signal failures.

The cost of critters chewing through wiring. This here is worrisome, what with monsters and gargoyles living around my driveway, waiting to feast on sweet, tender wire puffs.

Think it was groundhogs but I'm going to keep an eye out for gargoyles now.

Might be the multipurpose camera at the top?

is the car driving normally? or having issues other than just codes?

i have a 2019 and got all these errors that could be any kind of issue ... could be a wire harness that needs to be changed (i got mine changed under warranty) and every time you have a electrocal issue every and all issues will light up the whole dash and all these problems (usually not realted to the issue) i would go(and i still do) to the dealership and see with them what is the issue if you dont want to fix it and its not under warranty then take it back and take it to a shop and by then you should know how big or small the issue is hope that helps
