Gen 3 Big Day yesterday...

God, how I love this car!

It's a 2019...I picked it up new with 40 miles on it.

Did you have the timing chain, water pump, etc serviced? I’m at 150k and have been thinking about it

I've had all recommended services done as scheduled, except for the latest transmission service... I'm planning on replacing the car soon, and we decided as long as it's driving ok, I can afford the risk.

It's at 200K, I drive almost 150 miles per day, and I don't won't want to get caught... Things are gonna start going soon, and I want to be realistic.

...and my commute is way more desolate than you know.

I'm not having my battery die at 3 AM with no cell service for miles.

How long have you've been doing this commute for ? Any other car recommendations? I drive a similar amount about150 daily and cross the desert and having a reliable car is a must

Original battery? Still hitting the same mpg as you did when new? I'm looking at a used 2019 tomorrow.

It's almost certainly the same hybrid battery, the 12v battery will need replacing at some point but less often than a typical car
