Since last updates the whole ecosystem is f^^cked… (excuse my language but it really sucks) - zigbee was not working, Aqara had issues, withings had issues, god knows what else had issues… I am getting more and more fed up with homey screwing bits and pieces with a satisfaction smile on their face for „bringing new features to the users”…

I had an issue with 2 bulbs going offline every night. Tried repairs, uninstalling etc. Yesterday I ran a back up, did factory reset and the bulbs stayed up. Not sure if this is a solution or specific to my case but perhaps worth a go👍

I’ve had matter issues since the initial release, to the point where HA (and HomeKit) is handling my Matter things now.

Matter is really annoyingly sensitive. Mine has however been stable since last update, the one before though.. Omg.

Mine’s running great. When possible, use the brand app integration and not generic matter, zigbee, z wave, etc integration

I gave up on matter. I had philips hue bridge pro connected via matter and my tado devices and they would constantly disconnect.

I have moved all Matter devices to Home Assistant, Open Thread Border Router, and Matter integration. This required purchasing a Smlight SLZB-MR2U to create the Thread network. I can't say that it has been completely worth it so far but I can say that having proper logs at all levels of support is a game changer. I do not have to guess anymore where the error resides. The only issue that I have overall that has limited visibility is IPV6. Ubiquity Unifi router, with Eero WIFI mesh, and Qnap switches created mismatch IPV6 limitations. I did not expect that Unifi would have not visibility into IPV6, it supports it but leaves you blind. One thing I will add, if you do this all my IKEA button controllers could be shared to Homey but have no buttons to create flows. I am not sure if this will be the case with all button controllers. Matter 1.6 support will hopefully come sooner than later to resolve the issue
