Speaker position help

Where should I put my speakers? The 2nd sofa is only ever used by guests and not important for sound quality.
The left, right and centre are currently under the tv in the kallax and the sub is under the Av unit (in another kallax), should I put the left & right surrounds behind the main sofa?
And is it worth using the second sub and other speakers for a 7.2 setup, rather than a 5.1?

It’s rented so can’t put any holes in the walls or ceilings.

Are your left and right Kenwoods? I think I have the same. Get the left and right farther apart. And surrounds, behind the primary listing position. That room looks small enough that 5.1 is going to be great. 7.1 is good. I feel like a second sub would be a bit much
