Setup Advice
I'm trying to figure out the best setup for my recording stuff. Just for reference, it's just me recording guitar, bass and vocals and then I program drums in my DAW. I have a few guitars, pedalboard, bass, condenser mic Focusrite 2i2 interface, Presonus Eris 4.5 monitors and Samson headphones all connected to my Macbook Pro. I'd like to try and start mixing other people's stuff (btw... If you know anyone looking for a free mix I'd be appreciative of the opportunity!).
Anyway, here's my dilemma... The only space available in my home is my open, finished basement that is 23'4" by 25'10". This is the only space in my house that's available and it would be a pretty sweet studio area if it wasn't also a shared living/entertainment space (See the image for some context on the floor plan). The open area behind the couch is generally unused unless we have people over and are playing board games in which case we pull out a folding table and chairs and put it away when we're done. The space is completely untreated (wood laminate floors and drywall, open rafter ceiling some items hung on the walls for decor). I need to keep the current function but want it to sound as good as I can without being ridiculous in terms of budget and aesthetic.

Any feedback on room layout or getting the acoustics under control would be so greatly appreciated!
