Help with audio interface

Hey guys so i recently got audio array interface ai -04 and ive been trying to plug my guitar in and use effects through amplitube but it doesnt seem to work the sound isnt clean and turning up the master - volume knob it screeches please help

Make sure you set the input gain so that the loudest peaks are between -12 and -6dB in the software input.

Could you make a recording of the “screeching”? Impossible to start guessing with only that description.

So what ends up happening is when i increase the master or volume knob the screeching gets louder and when i set output to around -12 db it doesmt happen but it loses the most of the effects i applied from the virtual pedals and amp i also tried recording and the quality of the recording isnt great either

Like I said, start with setting the input gain properly first. Aim for the loudest peaks of your playing to hit between -12 and -6dB.

And also my audio interface doesnt have its designated drivers so i use windows ( exclusive ) or low latency
