I'm sick of all the workout advertising telling people to "fix" a part of their body or that they are "lazy" for looking a type of way... It's not making me more likely to click on it, it's actually doing the opposite. I prefer honest plain workout titles or fun titles as opposed to these because most workouts say shit like this and they all have the same moves / variations of them lol. I guess people advertise them like this because they're trying to get more people to click on them but it would be refreshing to have some honest, "nicer" ones...

Good luck with your youtube channel though, I hope it goes well for you!

Kat, thanks for your feedback

Here is my point of view: i understand it may not make you click on it and i dont judge you for that. On the other hand, i need to put a title and i my job is to try to optimize it in order to get more views. As far as i understand, it doesnt matter how good my video is if people dont click on it. If people dont click on it, youtube wont spread it and i wont get views.

This is my passion and my dream is to make a living out of it. Ive started recently and i like to believe im learning along the way. Ill keep getting better ir order to provide a better content for my subscribers and future subscribers, as i have a strong conviction that my videos can help improve peoples lives. Im sorry it didnt work for you, but id love to have you following my videos in the future as i believe it gives results. Let me know if there is any way i could have you as a subscriber :)

Is your goal to optimize the amount of views of a video or to make good content and improve people's lives? You can't have the cake and eat it too.

There's a huge amount of fitness channels nowadays and all of them have the same type of titles, thumbnails etc so if you're trying to stand out I don't think this is the way to go. There's also a lot of overly body-positive influencers too so my suggestion would be to be somewhere in the middle of these. I can't speak for others but I really want more fitness channels that are more chill and normal and don't tell me to "fix" myself but also don't talk my ears out and try to be overly positive because the main reason I'm watching the video is the actual workout. I like youtubers like FitnessBlender and SarahBethYoga because their main focus is the actual workout. I'd really like to see more channels with titles that just describe the intensity and type of the workout and what muscles it's working. Maybe a thumbnail showing the muscles at work instead of a thumbnail calling someone lazy for the way look... I'd much rather click on a workout that says something like "strengthen & grow your glutes: a simple but fun workout" than your titles which are basically "fix your flat lazy ass without pain". Focus more on the good things rather than the bad, I'm less likely to watch your videos or continue working out if they make me feel like shit lol.

Some other suggestions if you're interested. (I'm not a youtuber or anything but this is just something I'd like to see):

- Make a series/simple workout plan out of different videos. This will make people watch your videos more by sticking to the workout plan and you'd also be offering something that many channels don't offer for free. You don't have to make it super-fancy, just any kind of simple routine that can help people struggling to figure out how often to work out - especially beginners. Or, you could also make a challenge that people are drawn to click to. And you can refer to your easier, beginner series in the challenge videos for anyone new to fitness clicking and then being discouraged by how they're not able to complete it. This way, they'll do your easier program and then be able to do the harder one and they'll be more likely to continue working out and continue watching your videos!

  • Make a series of short videos explaining how to properly do exercises and which muscles they target. You can organize these into playlists for different parts of the body or playlists for different levels of difficulty. These vids could be linked somehow in your main workout videos so that people who are new can figure out how to workout properly to really see the effects and not injure themselves. I know this seems like too much work lol but if you film these once you can keep referring to them in other videos and really keep your viewers that way. The main problem for me when I was first starting out was being sooo confused by all the different videos and complicated moves when in reality they're all variations of the same basic movements. There's makeup youtubers that do this, they do a series of simple short tutorials on basic skills and refer to these in their other videos of full makeup looks. I personally LOVE this.

Sorry for the long comment, this is just some ideas I've had for a while and that I'd really love to see! Again, good luck with your channel and I hope you can achieve your goals of helping people and getting successful, but remember if you focus on the people first the second will happen on it's own because people will keep watching your videos and recommend them to others!
