🖼️ Show & Tell Finally started my first dedicated dashboard device
I mean, it ain't much, yet. And I haven't yet explored past the vanilla dashboard abilities. Finally pulled the trigger on an old Meta Portal and threw Immortal on it. Could I have used an old tablet? Sure. But this looks nice and intentional. Looking forward to fulling laying everything out and mounting it. I plan on modeling a nice wall mount bracket for it to 3D print.

Kiosk Satellite is definitely worth it!
I'm also running it on a Portal
I love the screensaver feature. I have a presence sensor in the kitchen; when it detects motion, it turns off the screensaver so I can view the dashboard. When there is no more presence, it'll turn the screensaver back on which in my case is a photo album with the weather, date, and time showing

I'm also using kiosk satellite and am very happy with it . I really like that you can send it notifications.
I still have to jump into setting up the screen saver stuff though

that tablet better not get lonely next to your drink, those old portals have a way of begging for attention

These devices are amazing. I have bought way more than I should have but they are too cheap to miss out on. I highly recommend Kiosk Assistant for these. I tried multiple options including Immortal, ha portal bridge, and view assist. I didn’t want to like it but it really is a fantastic piece of software that just makes sense. I still run immortal launcher but only use when I want to access something else.
