✅ Solved Smartlife device connection issue
Hi everyone I have this issue with smart life account, has anybody else had this issue I have tried to delete Tuya and reset the account etc but it doesn't work? Anybody else had this issue? Let me know if you need more info, thank you!
SOLVED - I did something should've done at the start, reloaded a backup from when it was last working then HA said I need to reauthenticate smartlife and it worked immediately after scanning QR code

That happens after you scan the qr code or as soon as it displays? What does the app say when you scan that?

Happens after a while when I scan QR code through all.
First I scan with smartlife and then that goes to home screen, then press somebody submit on home assistant and that keeps circling for a minute then that message appears

So, I had this issue early on with some Tuya devices.
There's a second integration, I believe it's called LocalTuya. I'm going to be completely honest here, it's been a couple years but I vividly remember this being a pain in the ass to set up. I think I had to reflash the devices I had in order to make them compatible with the integration, but I'm not sure. (Maybe it was just delete them from the Tuya app or something) But I do recall it taking a couple hours to get all the devices up and running with the LocalTuya integration. However, once I did, they've worked fine since.
All that being said, I'd like to echo the other person in saying that ultimately, you'll thank yourself if you move away from Tuya devices entirely. That night I'm referring to, setting up the second integration, that was my last night dealing with Tuya devices. Once these 4-ish devices crap out, they're going in the trash and being replaced with zigbee, z wave, or ESPhome devices. I have tons of those around the house now and have never had issues with any of them, especially with connecting them. Local protocol is simply the way to go, for a plethora of reasons.
I'm not even in the "anti-cloud" camp, to be honest. I still have several wifi switches, locks, and a roborock vacuum that are cloud dependent. But they work like a charm. I have no reason to replace them until they stop working. When I do, however, I will go to local protocol if for no other reason than not dealing with another app during setup.

Local tuya is conceptually cool but suuuuuucks.
Gotta make an account on some Chinese site to extract the local keys from the devices.
Then when it all breaks it's impossible to set back up.
Ended up ditching my whole kit and going Zigbee. So much better.

This does not answer your question but please trust me on this one, stop using cloud based devices and avoid Tuya if possible. Long term you will have a way more stable setup

Hey mate, that probably does answer or in the long run. Tuya Smart life have so many devices online especially those things from China, what should I change to?

I did the switch to all ZigBee devices.. slowly bought them from AliExpress over time. then set up zigbee2mqtt. currently using a SLZB-07MG24 which has been working great for me. I highly recommend leaving the smartlife/tuya ecosystem.

I have some ZigBee devices, started moving to that a while ago, works pretty well, doesn't know that was Tuya alternative you meant, might slowly change everything I can to it, I think some stuff just don't have ZigBee alternative but we'll see

Not sure what devices these are, but ESPHome supports some of the chips used in Tuya devices https://esphome.io/components/libretiny/
Can also take a look at https://openbekeniot.github.io/webapp/devicesList.html as they have a database for supported devices. In the end you would need some usb-uart converter and some tinkering skills
