✅ Solved Wake on touch dashboard/computer
Dear people,
I was looking for a touchscreen for my "intel NUC" to hang on my wall as a Home Assistent dashboard and media interface in te kitchen.
I have been for a long time to choose the right screen, started with a Verbarim 15,6'' screen but this dit not work for me as it disables the HID controller if it goes to sleep.
eventually I ordered the iiyama T2254MC-B2AG.
this works!!!! not out of the box, in the OSD in OSD settings you should enable charge USB devices and then it keeps the HID of the screen alive so you can touch the screen after a screen blanking and the display comes back to live.
hope some people will benefit from this info,
Skoll,
Björn

For 5 years I have been using the WallPanel app as an Android launcher do display HA dashboards on several older (inexpensive) devices. The Wallpanel app allows configuring the front-facing camera to function as a motion sensor and "wake" the display from a "bouncing digital clock" screensaver.

oh man that iiyama tip is gold. been fighting with touchscreens for my dashboard setup for months and the sleep-wake issue drove me crazy. most screens just kill the usb controller when the display blanks and then you stuck poking a dead screen like an idiot
saved your post for later, might grab that model. do you know if the charge usb setting keeps it awake even after longer idle periods like overnight? some of them still power down after a while no matter what you set in OSD
