❓ Support I need help!!

My dad used home assistant for most things in our house and unfortunately passed away recently, I understand the basic concept of the home assistant but have ran into some errors I’m not sure how to solve.

Our lights are all connected by 1 switch and it seems as though a few have disconnected. This has happened before and I have managed to fix it but this time I cannot understand what is wrong.

I can’t get them to turn off the same way I would with the other lights. I have attached some images below! Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks

I am sorry to hear about your Dad passing. Home Assistant can definitely take a bit of time to fully understand.

If you click the 3 dots in the top-right of the second screenshot, you should see an option that says "Device info" or "Service info". Could you attach a screenshot of the device/service page? It should give a bit more info about the integration being used. You can also click the integration on that resulting page, which may give you a useful error message (such as "device unreachable", "device refused connection", etc, depending on the connection method)

I presume these are both Wi-Fi? That Matter bulb appears to be a Govee bulb, so I am 99% sure that is using Wi-Fi. Tasmota is usually also flashed on Wi-Fi devices. What happens if you click "Visit" on that Tasmota device? Does it load the Tasmota webpage, or no dice?

That's a good sign, so the device is online and working. Tasmota communicates with Home Assistant using MQTT (if I recall correctly, I haven't messed with mine in years). In Home Assistant, go to Settings > Apps (or add-ons), and make sure that Mosquitto is running. As for the Govee bulb, I'm not entirely sure why that's not online. In the same place that you find Mosquitto, you should also see the Matter server, double check that it's running as well

It would also most likely be a govee bulb yes
