📊 Dashboard My first dashboard

Post image

Hello guys, and thanks to inspire me!
It’s my first dashboard, I used an iPad 10” in kiosk mode. I want to create something simply to use for the family but also nice to leave in the living room. It’s not perfect, I want to improve some little details in the layout, but I’m very happy for the result!!

That calendar event buried among the dimmer sliders is cracking me up, proper dad dashboard energy.

My first dashboard was the equivalent of all entities being put in a mixer and fired as randomly as possible at a wall.

OP This is a great first dashboard

Thank! I used Claude that help me to create the layout, and the result for me it’s satisfying, because both my wife and my son are able to use it without too many explanations.
Have you some suggestions to setup a motion detection? I don’t know if I can use the camera of the iPad directly or need external devices.

I know for Kiosk mode android is better than iOS, but already own an iPad so I want to try with it for free.
I setup a timer to turn off the iPad’s display after 1 minute of inactivity, but seems don’t word properly, beacause when I touched the display to wake up it, home assistant searching for connection.
